  1. Oh Goody Goody gumdrops ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. I buy some great Malbecs for under 1,000 baht a bottle but I know Malbec is not everyone cup of tea!!
  3. Can anybody honestly say that they still support these clowns?
  4. One can only assume that you did not lose a loved one or anyone close over that period?
  5. When I did my annual renewal at Phuket Immigration in December they picked up that I had stayed in Ranong for a couple of nights and did not get an updated TM30. They asked me to contact my landlord and get a new one there and then. ๐Ÿป
  6. "especially when you are over 60 or so" It is difficult for us "over 60's" when we cant even walk in to a room without forgetting why we went in there in the first place. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  7. Yes, that is correct. Separate Thai license for both car and motorbike ๐Ÿป
  8. Good luck ๐Ÿป
  9. Not sure I said any of that in my post?? But thanks anyway.
  10. Definitely RD incompetence. To try and get a TIN I showed her proof of two lump sums brought from offshore investment in to Thailand in the second half of 2024 and it looks like she just applied tax to those amounts despite the fact that I showed her only 20% of the total was 2024 income (investment profit). UK citizen but not sure that makes any difference. Trying to get a TIN because the hassle I had with this first company I disinvestment because I could not provide a TIN so thought it would be useful to have one for future disinvestments

  12. Was expecting this sort of comment from someone ๐Ÿ˜ด. I need a TIN for offshore financial reasons, not because I am planning to give these Muppets a single baht of my money. But thanks for the useful contribution anyway - NOT
  13. Hi Guys Tried to get my TIN at Chalong Revenue Office. Took all documents needed (well, had to go back a second time with extra docs!) After 1/2 hour of answering questions and explaining things, the young lady tried to tell me I owed over 300k baht in tax! I tried to explain again that I only wanted a TIN so I could get my tax return in order and ready to file but that was met with blank looks all around. I thought you needed a TIN before you could file a tax return but I think she was trying to say they issue a TIN after they have received my tax return?? I was trying to avoid using an accountant as I have calculated my tax liability will be very low for 2024 but unless anyone has got any helpful ideas that might be my only option. Cheers
  14. Should have read it a bit more carefully ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
  15. Sorry but did I miss something? โ€œTragically, Ryan was involved in a devastating accident this week and is now on life support in Thailand.โ€ "Initial post-mortem examinations have pointed towards acute pulmonary cardiac failure as the cause of his untimely demise" ๐Ÿค”
