If you are planning to ride a bike in Thailand you fuxxing should read the policy to make sure you are covered in case of an accident. By now the whole world must know how dangerous it can be to ride a bike here.

Costs a bloody fortune. Worked there some years back and visited again last year for the Rugby Sevens. If you have got the budget then fine but it is very expensive compared to other Asian destinations. 🍻

Hi All Looking for advice please. Outside of the cities and big towns is there anywhere with real quality in the Philippines both in terms of accommodation, restaurants and bars etc? Looking to spend 1 year + outside of Thailand, partly to "reset" my UK pension which was frozen when I left the UK in 2014. Appreciate any pointers. 🍻

Riding behind a traffic cop on his bike on a dual carriage way in Rawai this morning, both of us doing about 60 kmh. Teenage Thai lad went past us at around 80 kmh at a guess, no helmet - cop didn't flinch 200 meters later Thai guy on a bike wobbling all over the road, no helmet and obviously not in full control, as we go past him he is on his phone texting or something - cop didn't flinch. A few hundred meters down the road Thai guy on a moped coming the wrong way down the road towards us, no helmet - cop nodded to him as we went past. They can't even get the basics of traffic policing right!!

Fed up about hearing about these fuxxing left wing loons. A few less of them would be no great loss.

How many of them were the "quality tourists" that Thailand is aiming for?
