  1. I'm Japanese and I feel like Thai people would prefer me to be a local.
  2. I prefer rimming everywhere I go.
  3. Has anyone ever used VisitorSecure or Atlas International travel insurance? They seem reasonably priced. Anyone have any experience with them?
  4. Surely this isn't typical? Are you an overweight white dude?
  5. Four months? I'm in the United States and am considering going with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Insurance.
  6. Rimming is skateboarding and by anal I mean anal retentive behaviors as discussed medically by Freud.
  7. Like rimming, anal, and talking dirty? That sounds awesome.
  8. I arrive September 10th, and stay for seven days at a four star hotel. Then after that off to Thailand or if I'm having fun in the Philippines then I don't know.
  9. I have booked a flight for the Philippines and am planning on going to Thailand, Cambodia, and maybe Japan. I am looking for Medical Emergency Medical Insurance. Just to cover major medical in case I break my arm, have a heart attack, or get in some accident. Can anyone recommend me some good decently priced options? What companies are good? If I need regular medical attention I will just go to to someone local and pay out of pocket.
  10. Too late, I booked for 7 days. After I head to Thailand.
  11. Sorry all, I noticed the resume was not to date. Here is my latest https://chrisfoose.github.io/devportfolio/foosedev.pdf
  12. Does this IT experience include software development, system admin, or cybersecurity?
  13. Which one has the better girls (crazy sex)? Which has nicer expats and locals? Which is easier to get around and do more things other than having sex with girls? Which is nicer to live and higher quality of life? Which is safer?
  14. Yes, Hawaii Chamber of Commerce but so far there have been major roadblocks due to bureaucracy.
  15. Hmm, can't really see it. However, there was a place in Nana which looked good. Also, how long is a kilometer?
  16. I would like to do some networking in Thailand to possibly get hired by an off-shore company to work remotely. I do not really want to be paid in Thai baht nor do I want to work with the Thai government for a permit, etc. I am interested in IT, particularly Cyber Security and Software Development. I remember when I lived in Thailand around 2013 there were a ton of Tech Meetups with companies like Amazon hosting them. Does Bangkok still have that? Are there still a lot of Digital Nomads in Thailand? I love the country so much. I have a portfolio at https://chrisfoose.github.io/devportfolio/ and a blog at https://chrisfoose.party.
  17. Like walkable. A few blocks at most.
  18. Can anyone suggest some good relatively cheap studio apartments along the Skytrain? I used to stay at this place around Sukhumvit 41 but right now they want 15,000 Baht for a Studio and I want to see if I can do better.
  19. Too many fat balding miserable falangs.
  20. I was wondering about this? For those reading this who are DN and in tech, what positions do you have? I'm in Hawaii doing IT Help desk, but hope one day to get into Systems Admin, DevOps, or Cybersecurity. Which field has most potential for remote work? And yes, I do hope to live in Thailand and work remotely some day.
  21. Any suggestions for Chiang Mai?
  22. Psychiatrist as in able to prescribe pills. Hopefully English speaking and trained in Western Medicine as well.
  23. Are there any recommended psychiatrists in Thailand? Bangkok perhaps? I'm thinking of living there long term and would like to have one available to see.
