7 day parking limit in condo
zhounan replied to Robert Paulson's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Speaking of condos and parking: does your building require you to put a sticker on the windshield of your car signaling that the car owner resides there? Why should I drive around in my car and let everyone know that I live in that condos building? Isn't the license plate itself an identifying sign? Why should security guards check whether you have attached the building sticker and not simply look at the license plate? Maybe I don't know Thais way of thinking, but I don't understand the logic of these decisions. -

List the stuff directly on FB Marketplace with a reasonable price and you'll sell within some days. But, if you give stuff away for free instead, our hands (and hearts) are always open for you.

Cookware for induction hobs - where to buy and what to buy?
zhounan replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in General Topics
I bought them on Shopee. HomeySelect is the name of the shop. But later I saw them on supermarket, but I don't remember if it was Big C, Macro, Tops or whatever. -
I don't have the temptation problem because I am attracted to older women, but older women seems attracted by older men.

I am Italian, let me express my humble opinion: The distance between organized crime and crime is the same as between the Earth and the Moon. It is true that all places in the world have crime, but it is not true that all places in the world have organized crime. Also, crime you can eradicate, organized crime you can't eradicate. For these reasons, and more reasons, Thai authorities can put out of their minds the idea of eradicating organized crime in Phuket, at most they can arrest a few foreign criminals to show off or point fingering in front of the cameras, the favourite sport of Thai Police.

Violent clash between Thai and Filipino trans groups rocks Bangkok
zhounan replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The second match should be held at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. It could be an attraction and sell many tickets. TAT shouldn't miss this opportunity to make money. -
The underlying questions are: Would Phuket be Phuket without organized crime? Would Phuket be full of tourists without organized crime's money? Rational people know how much these foreign criminals invest in these places, and even if some politicians wave the scepter of legality, there are many more who consider the investments. I had the opportunity to reside in Hong Kong for three years. Hong Kong would never have become Hong Kong with fishermen, street food vendors, jet skis and cafeterias. Let's be rational. Organized crime is part of Phuket.

In Thailand, any excuse is good for manifesting nationalism. -
My question remains the same: would the result have been the same if he would have kicked a worker from Isaan?

Bangkok joins forces with Netherlands for eco-friendly urban mobility
zhounan replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The idea is very interesting. But Bangkok is not any city of Netherlands, in terms of population, urbanisation, climate, businesses and style of life. My suggestion would be try it in a peripheral city, Trang for example is perfect. But Thai policymakers and Sino-Thai billionaires seem to see no further than Bangkok. -

I bought a few FIKA brand pots. If I am not wrong are made in Korea. For what I cook, basically Mediterranean diet, I am very satisfied. But, I must admit that initially I bought them because "fica" in Italian means pussy. -
I had a total of six Thai girlfriends. From my little experience, I can say that Thai women are emotional when you have a new one. Whereas they are cynical when they have a new man. So, no mercy mate

New airport planned for Kalasin to boost tourism and exports

The girl I was banging a few years ago was from Kalasin. She took me there a few times. I have visited many provinces over the years but I doubt I have seen a more senseless one than Kalasin. -
