The sinister might also think the northern mating season might be contributing too and as they move to summer there will be less mouth to mouth.
He might have a degree in Astro navigation of viruses in warmer climates, he certainly is a very clever man.

My stepdaughter was working six days a week, driving 24kms daily 8 to 5 and earning 20k baht a month. A job came up in the local government office which she could practically walk too, five days a week 9 to 4 paying 10k baht a month. The grandmother wanted her to take the job based on more time at home, money saved on the car, a job for life she was told. The only snag was there was a payment of 100k baht to the office boss, it got me quite annoyed it’s like working the first year totally free, anyway I was totally against and told my wife that the daughter should turn it down, which she did.
A few weeks later this head honcho came into where my stepdaughter still worked and wanted a loan, after making credit checks she had the great pleasure of refusing his loan due to long time bad credit listings.
Just rambling, however In this country the brown envelopes exist everywhere.

It was shaking a couple of years back when I walked out on it, I put it down to the fact you have to walk out in your bare feet so you don’t scratch the glass floor then the glass being so hot in the sun I was actually hopping around.
Once was enough for me, I rate it similar to a fairground ride your told it’s safe then a disaster happens.

Be careful that you avoid being sneezed on by a Jingjok, they carry a lot of bacteria and it is possible you could catch the hemidactylus virus, this virus could then mutate when transferred to humans as viruses have been know too. Thailand does not need another mutated virus.

I think there are three possibilitiese for the new virus.
The first is that it occurred naturally, although a virus jumping species is extremely rare.
Secondly, and by accident, it escaped from one of the major bio-labs in Wuhan district.
Thirdly, it was deliberately released. Bearing in mind the trade environments world-wide and also the timing.
At least one bio-lab was contacted to the US military for virus research.
I know where my money would go, but I couldn't possibly uspeculate.
Are you insinuating that the virus was genetically produced as a weapon of mass destruction and may have been released accidentally or possibly deliberately?
China needs to drastically reduce its population so does the world, is it the way it’s going to be?
Nearly eight billion humans in the world now, if this virus can account for a 2% death rate then that’s 160 million less worldwide.
Now if it got in Africa I would suspect it would be substantially higher then 2%.
Just thinking.
Now a favourite place for China is Africa, lots of mineral wealth plus land.

Wow these Beamers could be equipped with the latest Thai technology to track down the Coronavirus Chinese tourists.
No wonder the PM claims 100% in controlling the virus.

Wonder if he claims 100% success when the virus actually hits.
The way things work in Thailand they might accidentally find a cure as they usually prescribe 4 different liquid medications plus Sara and an injection for a common cold.

What a complete bunch of knobheads, they would have the same chance of beating this virus as their army would have of beating the US army absolutely zilch.
How this country has made it to where it is beats me must be Buddha can’t be anything else looking after them apart from the Chinese.

Woke up this morning after a heavy night and noticed the mountains across the Mekong had disappeared.
I so enjoyed that view in the morning, I do hope they come back.
My wife said it was the smoke, I said “no Ganga last night”.

Tourists will stop coming, the ones who come first time will not be coming back.
Massive queues in immigration
Rip off taxi drivers
Hotels that won’t take your credit card
Hotels and businesses that charge you 3% more if they do accept credit cards
Garbage strewn streets
Stink from sewers everywhere
Smoke no the air all the time
Not as cheap as your friends told you
Polluted beaches
This is from a friend first time visitor who won’t be coming back

You’re all missing the point it’s not about being generous and keeping in with the natives.
A 100 baht massage and a 60baht bottle of whiskey would not made a dent in my wallet.
Why should I support people getting blind, it’s not a new year thing, they are blind most of the time, I have seen one of these guys several times just laying down on the side of the road blind drunk and the whole village including his family walks by ignoring him.
As for the massage woman no she is not a regular visitor, I have never seen her laying down although I guess a few village blokes have however she can be observed staggering around at various times of the day.
What irks me is the thing that the farang is going to get them blind again.
There are lovely responsible people, not poor in the village however they don’t support or will support the habit.
So if the few hundred baht was for Yabba some on here would be generous, new year spirit yeh?

Need hi res pics of said massage girl! Do we call you Charles?
About 30 years ago I reckon she would have been hot.
Only 100baht for a massage, imagine what something else would cost.

It’s New Year’s Day and many Thais have spent quite a bit of money over the festive days.
I woke up this morning and walked outside with my coffee to find two Thai guys know by me just sitting outside my gate. I noticed that the empty Chang bottles from last nights celebrations had been packed back into the carton they came from, along with whiskey and soda bottles and others also tidied up, immediately these guys ask for some whiskey.
I replied mot laeo, then they asked for money for whiskey as they tried to show they had tidied up for me, I indicated no money. When you want someone to do some tidy up jobs around the place for a couple of hours I can never get someone, either to lazy or they have money, now they need something let’s go see the farang.
Later about 8.30 this morning the local massage lady turns up unannounced wanting to massage my wife, obviously she was out of money I thought, I told the wife to tell her to F off, no the wife complied, an hour later the wife hit me for 200 baht for the old slapper massage lady, who then offered to massage me too. I declined the price then got discounted to 100baht, again I declined then I heard words that sounded like cheap Charlie falang.
Well stuff you darling I am not going to subsidise your drinking habits or others who aren’t family.
These people do nothing for me why the f ing hell am I going to help you get drunk at my expense.
I love Thailand though.

Authorities have been instructed to tighten up traffic controls in high risk areas as the death toll for the first two days of the seven-day dangerous travel period over the New Year holidays increased from 43 to 109 and the number of injured rose by 527 to 993.
What a joke authorities have been instructed to tighten up traffic controls. What does it mean?
To me it I interpret it as meaning stricter, isn’t that the meaning of having road rules you follow them strictly.
The country and it’s management just don’t give a rats and never will on this carnage.
It could be substantially reduced if only yep if only............

The OP must be new to Thailand not knowing the here the more bass the better until the speaker's membrane can't take it anymore and the rip apart, and to ridicule the thais for not having a delicate ear to the finely tuned bass is like saying why thais not big fans of cheese...
Not new to Thailand bud, it was just having to listen for four hours to relentless bass.
A lot of my Thai friends do like cheese, you would not blame Thais for not liking the bland junk they sell in supermarkets here though.

There are many bands here where the guitarists don’t make the grade, no I won’t go down that street or I will find myself apologizing to the good bass players.
Keyboard man myself.
I watched a band the other night and the goose was standing in front of his speaker don’t think he had a clue about his sound, now he was loud even his mates in the band were giving him the evil eye but he would have had no idea being in front of his speaker.

After watching a few Thai bands, karaoke, molam accompanied by bands, I just feel that Thai’s whilst they have a love of music could enjoy it a lot more if they turned down the bass.
Quite often the bass is booming, I watched guys on a mixing board doing sound checks and they don’t get up off their backside to check in other areas.
Sometimes the bass is like a sonic fart you cant smell it but boy you can feel it. They have no ideas when it comes to set up cabinets just get erected dumped by labour that has no idea of sound.
Will they ever realise that music is something that should be enjoyed without the bass been louder then anything else.

Yes Thailand is to be admired, the government has managed to suppress the virus, lower pollution, manage its currency, increase tourism, reduce road deaths, has no prostitution anymore.
It truthfully leads the world.
Next project climate change.
