Ryan, in reference to your consistently calm, lengthy posts from pages back, I just want to say: you have the patience of a saint. You really do. I increasingly lack the time to log on and post, but I (and many others I know) frequently still read these forums when we have a spare minute or two.

What an excellent post.. I fully agree????

  2. A good contract grade carpet would be best wear wise.. Aesthetics is personal choice.

If sim means a driving rig you'll definitely want double stick down.

That's where the underfelt is glued to the floor then the carpet is glued to the underfelt.

We would use that in high traffic high wear areas.. Hotel lobby and corridors amusment arcades bingo halls night clubs. That kind of thing

Right...a typical statement from a covid denier.  Which you are known to be.  Ignore social media.  It's filled with misinformation.

How can I be a covid denier when I've just given you cast iron proof of 17,500 covid deaths Jeff?

You'll have to put up a credible link to prove this. Otherwise....

Most put the numbers near 10MM.  Especially considering most countries don't count properly, some don't count at all.

And how much in taxes do the poor here pay?  Right....

Thanks to big pharma, millions of lives have been saved.  Great job.

Not wanting to stray to far off topic but millions? Really?

A recent freedom of information request to the the office of national statistics here in the UK asked. How many people have died purely from covid with no other factors on the death certificate.. The answer was 17,500. When the government has  been touting figures of nearer 200,000. So I doubt world wide the number is anywhere near millions

    Edit to correct some typos

What a ridiculous comment. Ultimately, no government provided service is free. But the fact is it's a government provided service and no charges are levied on those being vaccinated. You can be destitute and still get vaccinated.

It was geff who said they were free. I disagreed.

Spending my tax money on making big pharma even richer isn't my idea of a good was of spending it.

Sure vax the at risk with something properly tested but the government should not be working as an advertising firm for these companies.

We pay for the product and then get threatened and coercion used to try to get us to take it.

If you want it fine.. Fill your boots as another poster has stated pro choice. Leave me and the kids out of it please.

What?  I hear what you're saying, but since this virus doesn't care if you are rich or poor, then we're all in this together.  Like it or not.  Rich or poor.  And guess what.  The vaccines are free.

They arnt free..  They are bought out of out taxes.. Do you think big pharmaceutical companies are these great benevolent entries that do everything for free and only care about the good of mankind?

Because we want this pandemic to end. We're tired of it. Sadly, we're all in this together. Sadly.

We arnt all in this together though are we Jeff.

The people making the policies arnt struggling to home educate their children.. They have the finest tutors available coming around to educate their children. They have houses with nice big gardens the kids can play in.  They arnt cooped up in some one room apartment with no respite from bored kids.

Just curious, but what country has the most beautiful then, in your opinion? Can't be Britain- I've lived there to know.

Japanese women can be more beautiful than Thai women IMO, but I doubt as available, or as reasonably priced.

Think it was one of the South American countries that lead the ranks of more miss worlds than any other country. But that was a few years ago.

Someone with more energy than me might care to look for current stats

But certainly for me that Latino look rocks my world

It is on the way out in South Africa and it looks like also the UK now. It very much matters if you get Delta or Omicron, and also if you are vulnerable with comorbidities....

What needs to be done now with omicron taking over is obviously not the same, countries are wary to change their past policies.

Wary or reluctant to let go of their new found powers of control?

  11. I use binance but it's not without its faults

The verification process is tiresome and its sort of band in the UK so certain banks don't like to support money transfers into your binance account, as of today the are fine letting you withdraw fiat back into your bank account.

It's still a bit wild West out there.. Tread carefully my friend

  12. Rule number 1 don't gamble with thais

Let them do that between themselves

Even just a game of pool for a beer can lead to loss of face and hurt feelings.

I'm. Pretty rubbish at pool but won't lower my game because I think that's insulting

Still beat most locals 9 out of 10.

Youd think the girls who work in a bar and play pool day in and day out would at least have half an idea.

Again this is an erroneous statement... vaxed people do get infected and can become spreaders..... vaccinations protect against serious infections...  I suspect the efficacy of my 4 month old vaccinations has waned now, particularly against omicron.

I'd still feel safe in your company jacko.. Pretty sure I've had the original version once and I'm still here bud.

    Yeah, and asbestos removal.... .

I presume these are positive pressure masks you describe, I also suspect they release unfiltered air when one breathes out... via a valve, making them useless and irrelevant when considering the spread of a virus.. so no I will not be using one of those.

Can't actually remember where the exhaled air came out.. The important part was it was charged up and a new filter every shift.

Your vaxed jacko you won't catch it to spread it chill my friend.

I'd happily spend time with you mask less in a crowded gogo and feel totally safe in your company. Hell you can even sit on my knee ????

One of the saddest things about this pandemic is seeing these kind of topics being raised, and all the bickering that follows.

I'd have thought a bit of bickering was quite low down the list when one looks at how governments all over the world have at best mishandled the situation and at worst taken full advantage of the situation to push other agenda. The needless lockdowns leading to mental health problems domestic abuse old people dieing alone and lonely.

Normal health care put on hold leaving people with treatable conditions on a lengthy waiting list as their condition turns to untreatable.

Big pharma making billions out of products that are starting to appear less effective than the hype made them seem. All the while being free of any financial comeback if it all goes horribly wrong.

The list is a long one.. Bickering is not high on it.

Can't get a booster yet. I may well have to go for some fun and get my immunity the natural way.

That sounds a much better option my friend, one can only hide behind the sofa for so long.

For an old codger ????you always seemed healthy and active I'm sure you'll be fine. ????????????????
