Germany have had a strict mandate for n95 surgical masks and many eu countries also have strict mask mandates. Covid has surged in all these countries.

I did have a ticket booked for February and the Thai wife for January. Going to cancel them this weekend. Planning a holiday in Mexico instead. Thinking about it, it’s not just the testing but the restrictions within Thailand that make it undesirable.

Covid 19 didn’t shut everything down. The government did. It was political choice. There were options as others in the world have shown.

Like me, I suspect when many actually learn of the requirements they will continue their holidaying elsewhere. Quarantine and no social. Great holiday.
