  1. a couple of years back, I was  down south,, looking at temples.. when i came across a funeral,, as I passed by,, an old lady invited me to join them,, sat me down,  explained everything,  introduced me to the family and invited me to the food after,, it was all a party atmosphere.. I was some what  surprised,, they even took selfies after.. no.. not with the body ,,, lol ... so this would not surprise me

  2. yes i had a leak from upstairs as well,, what you find is all the plumbing for sinks showers, baths, etc,, come through the ceiling and are above your suspended ceiling tiles,, so basically , everyones plumbing is in the condo of the person directly underneath them. so yours is in the condo below,, and if they are as old as mine is, they are rusting and leaking.. I got the condo management to fix it for me and gave them a couple of thousand baht

  3. yes I agree,, but hey, lets not mention the idiot thai that do not have a licence, have never even done a bike/car lesson, or even the bike test, and of course the moron  parents that allow their children to ride on one.. and  the family all squeezed onto one bike . It's the minority tourists that are keeping the death rates so high,,,  as usual , it's always the farang ..

  4. I was there  last month, on my usual annual  6 week trip, on a  60 day visa.. I was staying with a friend, when the next day I got in to find two guys sitting there,, both dressed like they worked on the streets,, shorts, tshirt.. one claiming to be the leader of the town and holding some T30 forms,  asking to see my passport, then taking my photo, and questioning me as to how long I plan to stay , where I was going next, How long I was going to be in thailand.  They got me to talk to some woman on his phone who supposebly worked for immigration . I was furious But I let them photo my passport  but refused to tell them about my trip. I had as I informed them got a visa, so was legally there and the T30 has nothing to do with my plans and time staying in thailand. I told them it was disgusting that the government were tracking everyone as if we were criminals and that I would not be returning to thailand again .. The guy was actually very uncomfortable and felt guilty having to be there. So even as a tourist, this damn T3O affects us...

  5. OK I am here on a 60 day tourist visa,, though only staying for 6 weeks… traveling around Thailand, staying in hotels. I have just been invited to stay in my friends house for a few days. They are Thai. Its not a business. Just friends inviting me. Do they need to register me. And if they do not, as they are not even aware of immigration, how would immigration even know, as i am just a tourist and not doing any 90 day or other requirements ? will I be stopped at the airport, when flying home next week. Thanks in advance..
