I must have asked a 1000 times and still do not get the answer to my question, even asked kasikorn, waited  5 days, 4 emails and all they did is tell me what is already on the form, but not answer my question. 

so again I am asking,, for non usa.. what is this question asking. is it asking for the address that my account  is registered too ? I own a condo  and it is registered to that address.

It then states if you tick yes.  you have to complete W-8BEN but looking at that form, it looks as if its for usa citizens only , has any property owner answered this question

I put A and wrote, uk do not have a TIN.. what did you do ?

I went yesterday to the Kasikorn branch in Central Festival, Pattaya.  I waited about 7 minutes for my queue number to be called.  The young lady who called my queue number was very knowledgeable about the forms.  As a Canadian, only the first form was required (not the two USA/IRS forms). 

 

She had the form on her computer.  I gave her my Canadian SIN (social insurance number) and she printed out the completed form for me to sign.  She also had me sign a photocopy of my passport ID page along with the ID page of my savings account book.  Took about 5 minutes with her.

as you have completed this,, can you tell me what this question means. I have asked twice on here and emailed them twice and got no reply to it , only guesses  thanks

Because it then says  if yes  the other form needs to be completed and that is clearly for americans only 

I do  not understand this section,, are they asking, ,if we are a property owner in thailand ?   because it also says, if you tick yes in one box  you must fill in the W 8 BEN FORM, which is just for americans.

One of the forms is for US citizens/green card holders. The other is for non us citizens.

I wonder if i can submit these documents in person at a bank, so i dont need to go through the trouble of getting authorised notarized passport copy.

it does say , if you have already done this or your details or up to date , you can ignore it ,, but what does up to date mean,,, does it mean have your details changed since you opened it,,  because my details are the same from day one 20 years ago .

Did everyone get these or just those that are living outside thailand ? In which case, how do they know we are living outside of the country 

1.1 FATCA/CRS Individual Self-Certification, this one I think needs to be completed ,, it has  all about if your usa or not

the other two, I agree, are for the usa citizens 

I have just got these from kasikorn bank, 

I think the first two are for americans only ,, the third one, I am not sure . 

also is it just kasikorn , are all the banks now sending these out ?

has anyone else filled them in yet.. and if your not american , did you fill in just the third one ?

as the arabs did a runner,, only one side of the story , could be the usual, she was trying to nick the wallet and picked the wrong one this time

I was just there when it happened,, I had friends ringing me asking if i was alright, the tv companies were showing the before the explosion and  they saw me standing there talking to some guy , 5 mins before it went off,, I have always thought this was a botched  Surveillance, because there  were two cameras operating as they showed what happened,, and for some reason, both cameras were watching and following the bomber ,, first one, for some reason, was pointing down the street watching him approach, then when he enters , the second camera follows him, as he enters, follows him as he walks to the bench, and then follows him as he sits down,  and again when he gets up and walks out,,, the cameras paid no attention to anyone else,,  its as if they knew he was coming and had the camera people watching him,, I even pointed it  out to a journalist , and stated, as they knew he was coming,, they can not admit that,, but he will be conveniently caught within a couple of days,,,  and he was . so I think they thought he was doing a rehearsal , but screwed up because obviously , it was not. 

and how many countries do they go too, taking jobs 

I am more impressed with the suitcase,, the amount of weight it can carry, the amount of weight it can carry and move,, the speed, and the durability , no pot hole too great. and the distance on one charge.. where can I get one ?

why is the person with the camera trying to hide behind a twig, 

at the end of the day ,, if they were not ignorant and selfish and moved so others could get on the train, this would not have even  happened.. so blame the ignorant woman. how many other times does she block the entrance but the thai are too polite to say something,,, maybe now , she and the other ignorant's, will think twice because they stop others getting on the train.
