  1. This is more garbage on top of garbage. The NHS app works fine. Seeing a GP will not fix the app. GP's do not deal with emergencies - A&E and 999 do. GPS are seeing people as normal - often initially still by phone but in clinic when warranted.
  2. Cambodia has fully vaccinated 64.4% - not 80.1 %. John Hopkins and WHO are more reliable than the Khmer Times lol But the point is valid that Thailand is way behind its neighbours.
  3. Usually my transfers from UK with Wise take seconds or minutes. But the one I initiated pm on last Friday Uk time (after Thai banking closed already) took until early Monday morning UK time even though they already had got my money from my UK bank on Friday. - Strange because I would have thought it would have arrived in Thailand bank opening time on Monday. This is the only one out of many transfers that has taken this length of time. They do state weekends can slow things down. I suggest initiating transfers only when both ends' banks are open.
  4. Isn't it obvious? - Because if a society collectively impusively lynches remand prisoners (or even convicted ones) then the society is no better than the worst within it and cannot be called civilisation.
  5. Alternatively - just pay 20k to one of the visa agencies who have a special relationship with the immigration department and you won't need to worry about the bank balance or the insurance at all. It's perfectly legal in all respects because everything is in the discretion of the senior immigration officer.. Oh - and it's about 4K for a multi-entry stamp beside the visa. - Simple.
  6. Speak to them or email them - but simply and clearly stating the problem - not a long rant like here with insult of them and your Vietnam experience and blah blah. They are incredibly helpful and want to help if you address them respectfully and constructively. They are so good that they may try to help even if you insult them.
  7. You wrote as though you think what happened in India was inevitable or necessary. What you are suggesting should "play out" is total defeat of the healthcare system, fighting in the street for oxygen bottles and an extrodinary number of deaths to achieve community immunity instead of vaccination. Crude and callous.
  8. In the face of autocracy that doesn't listen to anything peaceful and uses arms against it, there is no other option but to respond in kind, or just give up snd go home.
