Not to be relentlessly negative but the "British Empire Medal"?
Seems like the name of the award could be revised to shake off the dust of imperialism a bit.
Lay off the soy.
British Imperialism is probably one of the best things that could've happened to the world.

This is all you need to know in order to not support this.
Businesses have no problem hiring women. They will hire those who are competent and provide the maximum value to their company.
No need for diversity hires, only hire on competence.

The virus may have a completely different plan (no medals)! It is inconceivable that there will not be a new strain sooner or later. Might be fine, might be doomsday. Certainly the focus should be on getting the rest of the world three-dose vaxxed with effective vaccines immediately.
There will be another strain. Likely be fine.
Why get a "vaccine" that doesn't provide immunity? You can still get and spread covid with the current vaccines. You can't boost your way out of it.
Obligatory stats showing majority of people don't die from covid. Rates very similar before "vaccine" as well except for elderly.

Doomers punching the air in frustration over this news.
Expect them to post in here about muh cases, muh deaths, muh pandemic.
For those who are afraid of no restrictions, just get "fully vaccinated" and get your boosters even though you are fully vaccinated. Throw in double mask wearing for good measure.

I also often wonder why people who barely believe it's a disease, would get tested? I tend to question the validity of their reports. I know a rather large number of people, fully vaccinated who got sick. None of them described it as being so mild. And, interestingly, none of them had an easy recovery. They had lingering effects for weeks at a minimum.
The tens of millions of people say otherwise. Such a deadly disease that many people are asymptomatic and others just get the sniffles.
Stats don't lie, sport.

Is this one going to have an even lower death rate than previous variants? Are we still expecting >99.7% for non-elderly?
I hope everyone who actually shows symptoms will be able to handle the sniffles.
Maybe a couple more injections of the formula made in 2020 will be able to handle this 2022 variant.

Pretty pointless observation.
Say there is a 1% death rate for WITH covid.
If there are more cases, it is obvious the absolute number of deaths will go up. It is still the same ratio of case/death, so who cares.
" 95% of new fatalities were vulnerable and elderly people, especially bed-ridden people who contracted the disease from carers. "
Is this really new to anyone?

So the question is why haven't the Government vaccinated the population, and what is the total % of vaccinated people in Thailand, the Government did say they would have over 70% of the population vaccinated by Xmas 2021, somehow I don't think that happened......
Woah you are sounding a little fascist and totalitarian there buddy boyo. Maybe a lot of those people decided on their own free will they didn't want the vaccine? If they end up dying solely due to not receiving injections for covid by choice, they accepted the risk.

I have suspicious hunch that the current standing of the TP/T&G program will be relaxed and dissolved before long.
I'm guessing May/June......???
Perhaps, even the crooked and least cognitive Thai authorities are becoming terribly weary of the whole scheme at large.
Viewing and comparing the growing lifting of similar restrictions/protocol around the world might be an indicator.
The prime example[s] might be to have a good look at our broader Asian neighbors and how they're all proceeding.
Not surprisingly, Thailand is behind the eight ball.
Everything changes every 2 weeks. If something sticks for at least 2 months, then I will be confident in the rules.

Plans underway for no-mask requirement in Thailand’s public parks
in Thailand News - Discussion
Thai friends testing positive but just have some combination of headache, sore throat, fever. Nothing serious and they go about their day as normal.
They tested POZ on over the counter tests and definitely will not let any hospital/official/app know they are positive.
Chicken soup and carry on.
No injections of course and they will be fine since they are in their 20's and 30's.
