  1. BTW do they give work permits to the pensioners too? What's the age requirement for that category?
  2. just operate it with a business extension and work permit then, what's the problem?
  3. If you are too young for a Non-O then I guess you have to look at the Wealthy Global Citizen or Work from Thailand professional because I guess that if you want to stay here you don't already work in Thailand.
  4. Sadly she was just a dumb girl that fell for the wrong guy and a 'dream' life in Thailand. I do believe she is innocent, only guilty of being too stupid.
  5. What is your problem with a simple Non O? the 800k in a bank? To me this whole thing is a travesty but feel free to indulge.
  6. They have such a fixed old mindset, most people making good money are freelancers nowadays and they exclude that category.
  7. no it's just the covid related death, of course many more people die in Thailand every year like everywhere else with a comparable population.
  8. I'm a traditional family man so that's why.
  9. need to see if it is worth it the cost
  10. Having no intention to work for a few pennies to fulfill the mandatory 3 year work permit, did you guys open a company on purpose to do that? Is there any other way? Thanks
  11. It's a farce that will flop like the Smart Visa... they had like 200 applicants
  12. I have arrived before Covid and never left. Now it's much stricter especially for African people.
  13. Nope but I think it's very difficult to get a visa from Nigeria to Thailand
  14. still stuck in 2006? there's Grab these days
  15. How exactly a Nigerian man made it to Thailand?
  16. ahaha what the hell... 130.000 baht a month, what did you do exactly to spend that much as a single? middle class what earning 10 times the average person here
  17. Yeah I think you are right that's the problem. For a balanced happy life 50k is more than enough. Of course if you want to use Thailand like Jordan Belfort used America it's never gonna be enough.
  18. 30k to survive 40k to live comfortably 50k to thrive Don't know why you need that much in a country where the average Somchai survives with 10k a month. 5 times that should suffice no? Food is not expensive but of course if you go to Tops and friends it's expensive. Just eat breakfast from 7-11, lunch from an ordinary Thai restaurant and if you are in Pattaya a plate of pasta from an Italian restaurant in Soi Buakao is 100/200 baht. I think you won't spend more than 10k for food. 10k for another decent place to live in, 5k for electricity internet water, 5k for booze, coffee and all those things you don't really need. 30k for your basics... Add insurance, some luxuries let's say 10k. Then another 10k if you want the weekly farang restaurant, soapy. 50k for a single is a lot, at least for me.
  19. Do you guys think the new long stay visa and Digital work permit provided by BOI might be applicable for Thai citizenship application later on the road? I'm thinking about it since I'd avoid opening a company. I'm talking about the work from Thailand scheme starting in September.
  20. Lol too dirty right. And to think that as a kid you'd find them in parks and bring them home. Yuck
  21. Their favorite social where they spend most of their lives, Facebook, has reels full of women flaunting plastic boobs and only fans links at hand. Pornography is stronger than ever.
  22. Okay so why the question if you already know the answer? You can use it until October, after that you can forget about PP. For the time being could have meant for years which is not...

If you want to use it for just one time it will still work but don't count on it for the long term
