I totally agree with no mask ruling and was interested to see all the steps that could be taken to enforce this in regard to any demonstration. How does this exist in relation to those who cover there face due to religious restraints. Would they be banned from attending all and any demonstrations or would this overrule any mask ban. A similar situation to this is where Seikhs do not need to wear crash helmets or remove headdress when going through airport security. To those who say you can clear headdress by metal detection wands you cannot as they use large metal pins to support hair under headdress.

BananaGuy no they have not and when they decide action has still got to be gazetted but that is not a long time frame. I think this is ill thought out as many have stated this will not result in better behaviour. They need an efficient and active police system and that is never going to happen.

I am sure many would support Trump to negotiate an end to this war if they thought he would do so in good faith and to support the western standpoint BUT he has displayed an amazing empathy for the invading Russians and total betrayal of the opinions of other western powers supporting Ukraine. I read an interesting article that Turkey has reached out to both Russia and Ukraine to attempt to solve this matter. Turkey has shown total independence throughout this war by supplying arms to Ukraine while still maintaining a relationship with Russia, quite a unique scenario. He does not appear fazed by Trump, his DEI appointment Hegseth who displayed his brilliance prior to the first meeting held in an arab state and that excluded Ukranian representation.

This fentanyl issue raised by the US is a smoke screen. The previous trade pacts were negotiated by Trump with both Mexico and Canada. At the time Trump bragged how wonderful these trade pacts were obviously negotiated by a masterful tactician like himself. The only way for these trade pacts can be altered is by declaring a state of emergency and hence the master negotiater Mr Trump did this by accusing both Mexico and Canada of these being so evil as to create criminal activity in the USA. Thank goodness for such a wonderful saviour.

I am sure that both requirements apply only to Thai. A thai must show tax returns for last three years and pay B5,000. A non thai will have to show passport I would think. Be like queuing at immigration at the airport, bizzare.

I am sure this would have been in checked in luggage, quite bulky for carry on and open to much more scrutiny via transit through Singapore. Her check in luggage would have been picked up at final destination and at best in Singapore maybe only an explosive trace test. Check in luggage is analysed by xray machine and only if outside parameters preset in xray machine would it come up for further scrutiny by security staff. It is highly unlikely her bag would have been scrutinised if it only held clothes, sheets and drugs in Bangkok. However at final destination could have undergone secondary screening and dogs prior to going on luggage carousel and she could have been chosen for inspection exiting immigration area.

I find the fact amusing that I have read Asean News and the previous sites for several years and been a member for a few but the fact I only contribute when I think that I can help and not just post my opinion to be slated by others I am not able to read certain articles. Yes, be very aware when buying through Lazada. I supposedly bought a Lenovo Thinkpad that had been reduced in price and then advised there was a short delay as had to come direct from Lenovo factory. Result was I got some crap no brand laptop that I replaced by going to a local vendor and buying the genuine article. I am aware I could have returned laptop through Lazada but while it was in transit I needed to make an urgent trip overseas for several weeks and they would not do so after my return. Lesson learnt will never buy larger ticket item through Lazada as in reality this was total deception by the vendor.
