  1. thaigerd--Thanks for all the photos, was kinda exciting follow this thread to see what would happen.

Only thing is now I don't get to read the story telling buy the seamen, are there a lot off you flowting kind of guys in Thailand? Was interesting to read all the water words, yardarm only one I know heard it in a move. Not much of a bar man myself but would enjoy hanging to here the salty talk :o

  2. MTW,

I wouldn't worry about it, if I were you. I'm back on TV after a few days & can't believe some of the responses I'm reading on many threads. Is there something in the water in Thailand at the mo? (I'm in HK, so just wondering...) There seems to be a lot of members who are feeling more than a bit mean at the present time. Ignore it. Live your life & have fun. :D :D

Check the size off the moon-same thing every mounth, have bin watching this happen for many years.

Its not people getting crazy, theres just a little more energy and it's easy to be more intence(?). In 15 days folks will be to lazy to even respond :o

  3. I have a friend in Vancover B.C. who calls herself a faghag and prowed of it.

At my age it's hard to understand how I could be forced to get it up by she or he.

I can remember times when I could not keep it down but those times are long gone so those men who are being rapped must be young victums, unless those girls are more creative :o

  4. It's OK to complain! Had to read the whole thread twice but this twit gets it.

For those who are still in the dark let me make it easy for ya. Listen closely this might be tough, sign up for your TTVU T-shirt, move to Patters, and quickly waist your retirment.

Bingo! Simple as that your now a Transient TV Underclass.

Whine whine whine all you like, i mean go for it when ever you need. There's a whole new underclass developing, whiners on wheels, underage whiners anonymous, etc. One of the most respected and famouse TV members will publish a book about the growing subculture taking southeast Asia by storm. The music world is not immune, Whining lady-boys group is taking over pop radio. Business opportunities are exploding whining stuffed kitty's, possibility's are endless, stay tuned to TV for instant updates. :D:D:o:D

  5. I don't use drugs, and I certainly hope my daughters don't grow up to use drugs. That being said, the 'War on Drugs' has been a total failure and has created more misery than any drugs ever had. If heroin was legal it would be cheap and addicts would have no need to resort to petty theft and crime to support their habits, and the huge drug rings that have grown up to supply the demand would wither on the vine. You don't have to like drugs to think that current policies are stupid.

I aree. There is hardly anyone in the US now days with any thing resembling a functioning bran, that doesn't know the present policy of the war on drugs has not and will not work.

The anount of tax payer money spent each year has become such an embarrassment that the Bush administration chose to change the way expenses are tallied about two years ago. The annual expenditures now reflect minus thirty percent of actual costs. And it's still an outregeouse amount, my tax dollars at work :o

Mean wile down on the southern boarder foreign smugglers with less than FIVE HUNDRED pounds of weed are not prosecuted, wile the hard working regular weekend neighbor hood barbecue party animal gets seriouse life complications for half pound.

I accept that any time some one shows up and says we are from the government and we are here to help the results will stink. The question is WHEN? will the polices change not will they change.

  6. After reading WEHOs post about travel show I was convinced he/she should be my travel guide. I don't like to mess around, could use some one who knows how to get in and get out, good food, reasonable price.

Now I see there is the small problem of me not knowing how to dress, dress or pants cause some are saying he/she. HO WE I'm confused :D:o

  7. It was obvious from the start that these guys resented ferangs (me)

Maybe they read this Forum. :D

    :o

Well done to the OP for handling a difficult situation very well.

Yep well done...don't give them the excuse...one on one not the rule...six on one your life has no value...is it fair? hel_l no...but your alive to testify that these guys are frumped up...screw um.

  8. Initially I'm on this board getting seriouse about retiring in Thailand.

I have found the mix of divers nationality's and there expert wordsmith ability's in there own lingo very educational, enlightening, entertaining, humerus, and addicting.

Is there another life? Well I looked at all three international news channels right now and live shots of Miss Hilton going back to court dominate. I have no chance with her but I here there are a few care takers over there for hire, so witch screen you think I should look for a life on? :o

  9. I would like to formally fill a protest to this buffalo dung.

The country that issues my passport US is ratted way-way to high.

I propose filing a slander suit in the international court.

How can a country in constant fear of terrorism proclaimed buy the president himself be rated any where above kayos? :o

  10. The reason I mentioned KFC is because one simply has to remove ALL of the skin on the chicken, or you may as well check into intensive care at a hospital, at once, in the cardiac ward. By the time you remove the skin, with all the taste gone too, it's just chicken meat. But the MAIN reason I have a problem with KFC is because at any price, they don't offer ANYTHING close to reasonably healthy. McDonalds's at least has a side shaker salad, not too bad, if you go "easy" on the dressing... VERY easy, that is... but KFC has NOTHING... there is some little salad, but it's all mayonaisey... another heart attack in the making. KFC fries are always greasy and just yucky to me. And whatever you do, (trust me on this)... NEVER eat those chicken nuggets ANYWHERE... if you want me to tell you how they are made, just ask... but I don't want to make you sicker than you already are.... it's YOUR choice to ask... I woudln't recommend knowing what's in them...

I (or anyone else I know, in fact) has never, ever been ill from a KFC or McDonalds meal. People all over the world eat McDonalds and KFC.. I eat it quite often (All the skin on the chicken , drink and some of the fries too) and I am very healthy and never ill.. So maybe its just you who is having a problem with KFC and McDonalds, I dont think they would be as busy and popular as they are if they were SOOOOOOOO deadly unhealthy and make you sick, as you say... (Just my opinion, though, not asking for you to agree :o )

Sweetie, I never wrote or suggested anyone would get sick by eating at KFC or McDonald's... I was referring to long-term destruction of the arteries, by eating a lot of clogging cholesterol, fried foods, greasy foods, saturated fats, etc. Anything, in moderation, is probably OK, but I would personally recommend avoiding FRIED CHICKEN SKINS at all costs... it's just not worth it. Go visit the heart care floor at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, and look who is sitting in the waiting area... the kind of people that eat ONLY KFC and McDonald's, and there are LOTS of them... Pattaya couldn't afford to support so many shinny international hospitals, if people wouldn't eat so poorly, for the hospital's benefit.

Yes, occasionally I go to McDonald's... I go cause the child's "happy meal" helps me do portion control, and not overeat. Once in a blue moon, I'll venture into KFC, but i would NEVER go anywhere near that skin...

Lastly, I appreciate your not expecting me to agree with you.

I recomend you go to the Philippines...."CHICKEN SKINS" no meat just skins deep fryed a local specialty.

  11. You want a guard dog? For around your house?

Take your time look around I'm sure some one has imported Australian cattle dogs. There adapted to the heat, smart, and quick. Fast enough to nip at the feet of huge bulls with out getting kicked. You can't let them run free around live stock with out some strict discipline because there bread to heard. If they are not used to kids they will try to heard them around, so need to be attuned to your commaands for control. There super smart, small to medium size, a few rides in the back of your truck its there truck now no one gets near the vehicle with out the alarm going off. There is no way an intruder can hit them with a club or other aggressive maneuver cause there just to fast. If said intruder makes a hasty retreat the dog will be getting little bits of his heals for quite a distance. Feel sorry for the persone trying to run away in flip-flops.

The key to handling working dogs is to establish a daily routine and make them understand all the little jobs that are there responsibility. Limit your commands to just a few in a relaxed voice, once they understand your commands they will wait patiently for a sign from you to act. Excessive barking can be cured buy giving the command to come next to you, then close your hand around there mussel and say stop when start to bark, they will test you when you say stop but just slowly move your hand towerd there mussel. Any way Australian blue healers, and a few others, one is called a kelpie usually black can run all day in the heat with not much water. I'm not from Australia but have bin around working dogs, sled dogs, pack dogs many years, those that had no sense of job or purpose were defiantly a royal pain. Those that had jobs didn't have time for mischief had to be ready for work in an instant. Good luck :o

Well Rick, it seems you have a very high opinion of yourself and your product. Is no-one allowed to make a negative comment? Seems you also think every other business in town sucks. You sure do sound like a bit of a dill.

Personally I will not step into your place again due to the nature of your post.

    BB

He said willing to discuss.....wants to here comments....will take the time.

Full moon right now....easy to regret actions during full moon.

  13. If the OP is talking about people in gay pride parades and the like ... some people do it as a lark .. some as a lifestyle statement etc ....

most transvestites are hetero .... and most don't dress as women in Public .... (and contrary to the phobe's quote earlier ... most of those do not have gender identity issues :o

A man who dresses as a woman doesn't have gender identity issues? Nonsense.

I would have made a post to your original question, but as I now see you not a clue it's a waist of time. Try look at your self in sexy girls undies some time, it's HOT.....

real Hot and the girls dig it! Ya my gender is bent.....straight up most of the time.

  14. Post two

Torito"When I migrated I did not sence either. I went there with lot of hopes thinking that this were to be my last destination. It was not, but allows me to see beyond and gave me the opportunities to moved on. I feel Thailand the same way. If it does not work...I will move on.

    Plan B is secure

  15. After doing part time research for retirement alteratives for the first two years of retirement I spent the first year in the South of the Philippines. Returned to Washington state for medical needs and reality check, it has ended in not getting back out of here for a year, but will be making air reservations in the next five days.

Posters on RP forums complain about not being able to have more than basic conversations with Thai girls in english and brief visitors to the RP are freaked out about all the security with auto weapons and shot guns, when the result of the real security presents makes the bank ATMs and inside the huge nalls way safer than here in the US. And let use not forget average Filipino food sucks, every one knows it especially those who don't have an entry stamp in there book.

Through others we try and get a clue about a place before we spend the time and money to check it out buy being on the ground looking for the truth for our selves. The following small gems have brought me back to a perspective that makes is easyer to deal with the delemma.

Qwerts "And most important, we accept what is on offer, the prices are affordable and we don't even consider the posibility of living here. It may still be worth moving there but in this age of duindling pensions and capriciouse exchange rates I think for the new wave of pensioners(which includes me) LOS is only one of several options." A tourists state of mind

Jinggthing"As an American, I find getting health care near impossible(be sure to see Michael Moorse's new movie Sicko if you realy don't understand that), yet I have no problems getting most of my needs met here at any Boots store. So to my view, in some respects Thailand is a more free country than the US, yet obviously in very important ways it is much less free(internet censorship etc.). There is no place like home.....there is no perfect home.

Ijustwannatech "myself, I'm here already. On reflection, if I'd known how much trouble I'd initially have settling in here, I would never have come. But if I had known further how happy I would eventually be, I think I would have come despite the trouble. See next post

  16. Threads often seem seem to turn to oldster or farang bashing and the old farang often becomes the favoured target.

I see the subject from a different angle as I'm an expat in Europe

Many older men here are divorced or widowed, have worked hard and are due to be pensioned.

They are often alone because their grown up family has little time for them.

Due to family or business commitments they never had the time or opportunity before to visit exotic places.

They are faced with the prospect of a boring retirement on a modest pension in the company of other pensioners.

That modest pension which hardly covers the heating bills here can ensure a relatively comfortable life in LOS.

I don't think most of these men actually move to LOS for the mongering, they discover it when they get there.

The first move is usually made by the women; old men are favoured targets for them too, for obvious reasons.

Most of these newer arrivals are not welcomed by the farangs already entrenched there because they might upset the balance, drive up the prices or alert the authorities that it's time to move the visa goalposts yet again.

It's a knotty problem for us all, especially men like me, due to retire and weighing all the pros and cons before making a decision on where to retire to.

The salient point is; men like me are not going to retire to a place where we're stigmatised and clearly not liked by the farangs or the locals.

Now your getting back to the real points of concern for a 57 year old like me who has already bin retired for three years. My concerns are about medical care and welcoming fellow foreigners, in that order. Girls are only a priority in what the landscape looks like day to day since even with pills my tools are older models.
