And spreading misinformation about the pandemic is terrible. That should NOT be allowed. Luckily, here on this forum, it isn't.
Read the book or watch the movie "1984". It shows what's going on in the world now.

Guys seems some of you made a mistake. Shouldn’t even have had an election, should have just given him the extra four years.
Actually we didn't have an election as commonly defined.

About the first argument, Obama created more jobs during the last 3 years of his mandate.
About the first point, and all the others, they're all true. Sorry.

You've been quite a vocal proponent of Trump from the beginning.
How about taking a few moments and telling all of us just how you think Donald Trump was the best president ever.
Go on now, please..
I'll answer that. From the official US government archives:
Unprecedented Economic Boom
Before the China Virus invaded our shores, we built the world’s most prosperous economy.America gained 7 million new jobs – more than three times government experts’ projections.
Middle-Class family income increased nearly $6,000 – more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration.
The unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century.
[and much more]

President Trump did not incite a riot. Listen to his speech.

What's wrong to do is to incite an insurrection against your own country. Mr. trump is guilty as sin. Republicans know that too but they either like it or are just going along out of fear of the disgraced ex-president primarying them. They had their chance to divorce themselves from Mr. trump. They already blew it. There is almost no place left in the republican party for anyone that isn't still going along with the cult of Mr. trump. It's true that still represents a large base. But large doesn't mean a majority, before, now, or EVER.
There is no evidence President Trump is guilty. Listen to his speech.
There is no evidence that a cult of President Trump exists.
You are correct, though, that there is no place left in the Republican party for anyone who doesn't support President Trump. And that's a good thing, good for the party, good for the USA.

A few years back I drove from Texas to Florida. The frightening, backwards, inbred folks I saw is a dark stain on the US. There were restaurants that were clearly "blacks on this side, whites on the other." It wasn't everywhere, but it was too prevalent and clearly in plain sight.
The GOOD thing is whites are soon to be the biggest minority in the US. Look at the Democratic Senate, Congress. Look at Biden's cabinet. THAT'S what America is becoming.
How did you determine they were inbred?
BTW, were there restaurants that put inbreds on one side and non inbreds on the other?

We agree that he will get the acquittal but the reason is NOTa nothing burger. His followers would make the Republicans who vote to convict pay bigly. Spineless is more accurate than burgers.
"Train Wreck" is the most accurate. The Democrats are stuck with this mess and there's no way out. Pelosi is on record saying that impeaching a former President who won 70++ million votes will unite the country. Wrong. People with triple digit IQ's see the folly of the Democratic party's actions. The Democrats brought this on themselves and they will pay the price.

This is a financial populist revolt.
I'm pleasantly surprised at some of the comments by those who hate one particular populist.
There's hope for you all!

“Trump was the perfect target in a lot of ways: his vanity, narcissism made him a natural target to recruit. He was cultivated over a 40-year period, right up through his election.”
More fantasy. Maybe Pelosi can impeach Trump on this after the current effort fails. ????????????????????

Well put. I forgot about Cruz and Rubio. I'm sure both will be contenders. And Hogan also? He seems more moderate. But considering the current GOP base, they'll probably favor another nutjob like Trump. LOL
Doubt if it will be Hogan. But it could be.

Surely even the Democrats can see that denying Trump a proper defence is likely to lead to demonstrations that would make the Capitol demonstration a "walk in the park"?
From some of the responses on this forum, I would have to say the answer to your question is "no." They do not appear to be able to see beyond their noses.

Now some members of Congress want more police protection. Maybe they should hire a social worker to help them deal with it. Next time don't defund the police.
"Protecting Members in their District is much harder because local law enforcement agencies are stretched and limited, and often don't have sufficient staffing or money to provide regular protection to Members,' they wrote in a letter."

No conspiracy theories, please.
The head of the capitol police resigned. Wonder why? Connect the dots....place the blame properly. And it's not Pelosi and McConnell as you wrongly suggest.

Capitol Police apologizes, admits advanced intel showed Congress was target before insurrection
'We knew there was a strong potential for violence,' acting chief of police said
Former Chief Steven Sund ‒ who resigned after the riot ‒ had put in a request on Jan. 4 for the Capitol Police Board to declare a state of emergency and authorize a request to secure National Guard support. But the board denied his request and instead encouraged Sund to contact the DC National Guard to determine how many Guardsmen could be sent to the Capitol on short notice, which he did.
The lower level people always take the fall. Everyone in government knows that.

Remember what a joke he was back in the primaries in 2016? It can't happen, it'll never happen. It happened.
Agree. If President Trump runs in 2024 in a fair election, he will win. His supporters know this; his enemies know this. And if his enemies can't throw him in jail, they will resort to other means.
Yes, President Trump was considered a clown by the elites such as Pelosi. Now she and her ilk are obviously terrified of him.
