Not only that.. Windows 10 Mobile is no longer supported.

Yesterday Windows 10 (PC) was very lagging, in the task manager I saw the process YourPhone.exe running.

They did a remote shut off of Windows Mobile elements in Windows 10, updating the apps.

Only Android or iOS is now supported in that app.

My Lumia is lost in translation...

  2. Not only the skin and the colored buttons and the unwanted programs.. but it irritates me that modules that I am using are removed without warning.

HomeGroup, samba sharing, 'netbios' like naming, upnp for legacy, some elements in the game section.

Have to do register and services settings, and again after every sudden updates.

And Seven is still running steady on another computer fully under control.

  3. Get a tourist visa in your home country , just as jackdd wrote.

And prepare papers for a visit to the immigration in Thailand after around 45-50 days for a extension which gives you 30 more days.

Papers: route to the nearest immigration for your convenience,  copy tickets, passport and TM card. And of course pas-photo. Fee 1900THB.

Tourist visa is for 60 days.

You mean they carefully peeled off the visa from your old passport and then re-stuck it in your new passport.

    Amazing service.

It amazed me even more how they handle the iron counting to 10 before lifting it up and even offered a free cover.

Out of craziness, they stamped in the new passport and wrote down the old passport number, visa type and validity period.

I see this as transferring the visa. No extension is granted with that stamp.

By the way, peeling off the visa..  2 out of 8 visas I got are stamped version of the visa from the embassy and not those fancy sticker which I got the year before and after.

  5. .. are staying in Thailand for more than 180 days a year, not married, not getting a salary and not owning a company or condo or any share.

But just a regular immigrant living in Thailand based on non-O visa for volunteer.

I have bought items that goes to the home where I am staying long term, tiles and roof and solar and electrics.

The company where I bought the stuff asked me if I do want get a Tax Invoice bill, which made me curious as the 7% part is not something to throw away.

If I was a tourist, I can get a tax refund claim on the airport, assuming the goods were carried out the country too.

But I am not. I am living here on a temporary base as everyone else is.

Not getting a salary from my job, so not having a Tax number.

Has anyone been there? In that same situation?

    Please share your experience.
