Currently drinking the blue nestle instant powder stuff
id say red is the best if I remember correctly red = expresso effect blue = more creamy and green is less sugar.
i usually get a pack of 27 for 79 baht from my local Tesco as they appear to be on sale a lot instead of 120 baht ish.
on an evening I have a cup of matcha tea if you haven’t tried it I would recommend it.
full of Vitamin C and antioxidants... which if they even exist.. are good for you

I went on April 15 to get the under consideration stamp addressed and I now have a visa stamp giving me until May 2. I asked if I am
now automatic after May 2 and they said no I will need to obtain a new
embassy letter and bring the usual documents to extend ( passport photo, photocopy and 1900 fee..
these clowns don’t even know that the uk embassy stopped issuing embassy letters on April 9.. so clearly uk passport holders cannot do that as of now
so it appears
everybody has a different story see picture below I got an automated email
back from the uk embassy saying they won’t be giving out any more COVID extension letters as they are awaiting further instructions...

I’ve received conflicting info off everybody even off the immigration desk where you ask for a form.. they said I cannot change tourist visa into a non b while inside Thailand even tho I know people who have done this.
ive also been told in order to get a non b you now need to process it outside of Thailand which at this stage is an impossible task,
also that Richard burrow guy told me that you can infact change it INSIDE Thailand and that he does it all the time but I’ve since then been to CW who told me otherwise.
-
Right so I just got back from CW see my original post for the whole story ..
arrived around 1:30 and it was empty.. went to desk and asked them if I need to fill out that awful form that is not clear at all where to fill in your info ( if you’ve been before you will know what I mean )
didn’t need any of that but she said I don’t even need to be here because it’s automatic extension until April 30 INCLUDING THOSE WHO ALSO HAVE UNDER CONSIDERATION STAMPS ***** but seeing as I’m here I can get a stamp if I’m worried... of course I got the stamp.
Please note I have seen other stories saying otherwise that under consideration people still have to attend immigration when stated.
i got my ticket number and within 10 seconds my number was called... ( I hadn’t even sat down yet )
they took about 10 mins to call me back in and I had my stamp until May 2.
i asked them will I now be automatic after May 2? ATTENTION ALL NO I AM NOT AUTOMATIC..
the cowboy made it clear if the situation is still like this after May 2 I will need to obtain a new embassy letter and the usual documents ... passport photo and photocopy and 1900 baht fee to get another month and return on May 2
the automatic extension is fake news !!!!
we still have to keep getting these pointless letters from our embassy that takes that about 4 days to respond with it...
So Get your wallet out every 30 days it’s gonna be a fun few months.

How do you get one of these ‘corona health certificates’ anyway ? Do you just show up at a hospital in let’s say.. Vietnam and say you need a health certificate showing you don’t have corona ?
you couldn’t just do that in the uk as it’s up to it’s knees and only famous people are getting checked out And regular people like you and me they couldn’t care less about
how much are they anyway roughly for a certificate anyone know ?

So I used my 2nd extension on April 2 and handed in the Uk embassy letter that said I was stuck here.. I paid the handsome 1900
baht fee and they gave me 15 days instead of 30 in one go.. I’ve read that its
called a under consideration stamp? And this “consideration stamp” doesn’t equal an automatic extension like we just saw in the news this week.. I was told to come
back on April 15 to get a further 15 days free of charge giving me until May 2..
so my question is do I still have to go on 15th? I imagine their are thousands of tourists here who just presumed that this “under consideration stamp” is going to tie us over until 30 April because of that announcement we all saw so a lot of people are going to be falling into overstay without knowing?
next question.. the lady I spoke to who gave me my passport back with the receipt said to just bring my passport but didn’t mention anything about bringing photocopy of passport or passport photo etc? Can anybody confirm if this is needed still thanks
-
I went to immigration on April 2 already and paid 1900 for the second extension (including with the embassy uk letter) they only stamped me for 15 days and told me to return in 15 days to get a further 15 days (no further charge)
so I no longer need to go?
Also then my visa would actually run out on May 2 so I will get 30 days automatically on top of that so giving me till June 2?
I read somewhere that this automatically extension is just for people who arrived after March 1... I arrived here in January ! Anyone know if it actually is for ALL foreigners or just those silly enough to arrive after March 1st?

Don’t worry about that stupid tm card, yes it’s a requirement but they don’t really care about them.
i lost mine and it wasn’t an issue at all, it’s just a piece of paper with your name, date of birth and pass port number that’s hand written, all of which is in your passport anyway,
people lose them all the time.
if it’s your first extension you won’t need a uk letter

I went today and I was on a tourist 60, already used up my extension last month so I’ve had 90.
the only things I brought was
passport
photocopy of passport
photocopy of tourist visa and previous extension stamps
1900 fee
1 passport photo (yes only one)
uk embassy letter printed
The lady didn’t even say one word to me about any of the documents apart from sign all the pieces of paper.
they stamped me for 15 day’s , they want me to go back in 15 days and they will stamp me again for the other 15 days. So 30 in total. It’s a pointless exercise and it’s creating more foot traffic into their office during this pandemic but this is Thailand and the tourist industry is going to drop dramatically in the future after how they have dealt with this I imagine.

So the extension I paid 1900 baht in March ran out today, I obtained that letter from the uk embassy to hand in aswell. Didn’t even ask me any questions just the typical sign X amount of pieces of paper which does absolutely nothing, how many times do they need ones signature. hand over the 1900 baht and away I was.
walked through the door at 10:25, got my ticket queue number at 10:38 and my estimated wait time was 70 minutes, it turned out to be 4 hours exactly and that’s including their 1 hour lunch break that they announce and kick everybody out the building all at once ( Talk about self distancing )
WHAT THEY FAILED THE MENTION IS...
They sre only stamping us for 15 day’s... so she said I have to come
back in 15 day’s to get another stamp for a further 15 day’s ( no extra charge ) so in total it is the 30, but it just seems pointless.. why are they creating more foot traffic at this office than needs to be?
this goes to show this place has no plans on closing down for anyone who’s overstaying
Ive attached a picture below of what they have done with the seats as if this is going to make a difference,
the chairs are in a row of 4 and only 1 chair is available the other 3 are taped off... I mean seriously, the chairs behind or in front are no further apart and they think this is going to make a difference ?
Also I saw a man with 1 leg and a walking stick hopping around the fact that they still expected him to go to the immigration office says it all.
so yeah.. pretty much hand over your 1900 baht for a 15 day stamp, and then go back in 15 days to get the other 15.

The UK is a disaster right now.. far far worse than here.
My sister can’t even buy a packet of nappies for her little one, not to mention the shops have all been raided. Nothing like that here..
I even saw a picture that some of the Indian corner shops are trying to sell 2 rolls of toilet roll for £13 !

So the people who were silly enough to ignore all instructions to not fly anywhere and stay in their own countries are being given the green light but the people who have been here longer have no help at all?
they have just inserted a random date of March 1st for the sake of it, this has gone on since January
Pathetic country.- 6

When’s this BS announcement coming in about them potentially extending all foreigners until June 30, how many more people have to catch corona before action is finally taken.
are people in the same boat they have a visa about to expire this week and they are gonna risk overstaying and wait for the announcement before they part ways with their 1900 baht?... knowing my luck I will extend and they will anounce it the next day we can all stay until June30 when I’ll only get until May 3rd!
part of me I care more about my health than a shi**y stamp in my passport in a corona infested office but the immigration office only care about getting their money from the foreigners which they have openly labelled us as ‘dirty farangs’
other PArt of me can’t be bothered with the hassle they will probably give us for overstaying but they have not left us with decent options as of now. The immigration office is one of the main reasons for the spread, the CW office is no busier than an airport so why is it still open <deleted>.

23 minutes ago, stephen tracy said:I have to go tomorrow but I'm not gonna do it. God knows how many staff and visitors to the place will have it by now.
I’ve heard that at of right now they are still fineing people for overstaying, but we’re expected to still risk our health at this corona ridden office. It is a joke I know.
MONEY MONEY MONEY tho eh..

I have to go in 2 days. I’ve been told that as of this moment they are still enforcing fines for overstay..
if these cowboys end up testing positive surely that’s the last straw. People’s health is more important. I am sh***ing myself thinking about going there in 2 days being so close to thousands of different nationalities.
when’s this announcement about foreigners potentially being allowed to stay until June 30?

I have to go to Chang wattana in 2 days enough is enough now 3 officers have got corona because they are morons keeping their office open to thousand of foreigners expecting us to cramp together in one room and risk our health for a stupid stamp oh not to mention the 1900 that is probably the main reason.
surely our health is more important and this is the last straw now immigration officers have got the virus... is their going to be a punishment for overstaying ? Surely there is going to be plenty of people who care more about their health especially after this breaking news.
they think forming a line 1 metre apart from each other was really going to help? And now they have 3 of their own staff who have the virus... well done Thailand !
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

My visa also expires on 2 April but after watching some tourists' videos and pics of what is going on at this place, I've decided just to overstay. It looks like the perfect place to get infected. I cant believe that at the very least theu don't seem to care about all the staff that have to work there every day.
Do you reckon they will fine you ? Or just wave it? I would imagine there are hundreds of people who will just overstay because they don’t know what to do rather than point blank not follow the rules.. On one hand I can understand a lot of people overstaying because they probably don’t even know that they have to attend the immigration office to extend, not to mention the health risk being in a tight space with people from all kinds of nationalities health is the most important thing... but on the other hand they love the money with the overstay fines!
hope it works out for you man

So I finally got my extension letter off the British embassy to take to immigration on Thursday 2nd April as I have already used my extension.
do I need to print this letter off or just show it on my phone ? Because I’m guessing I’m gonna have a hard time finding somewhere like a printing shop to get all this in paper form
do I need to pay the usual 1900 baht and bring 1 passport photo and a photocopy of my passport and visa stamp still for this pandemic?
also what are we supposed to do in another months time when this extension is now over and the borders / flights are still closed / cancelled, they gonna let us just extend again ? Everyday I’m just reading that more cases are found and it’s getting worse.
-
So I already paid the 1900 baht to extend my visa on March 3, so that gives me until next Thursday April 2.. I will then go to immigration and hopefully they will extend it again for a lovely 1900 baht.
ive seen that uk passport holders need to email the uk embassy for a extension letter or something ? Well I have and it said they should respond in 2 days and it’s been 3 so far.. anyone else not had there letter back? Is this mandatory ? What are they going to do if I don’t present this letter ? It’s not as though they can send me anywhere if all the borders are closed ?
one of the requirements for this letter is proof of flight that’s been cancelled... I didn’t even book a flight back because I’m waiting to leave Thailand to get the Non b as I can’t process it here so I’m stuck until borders reopen and can’t fly back to uk because it’s worse than here.
best to just extend next week for 30 days and then extend again if we are still in the sh*t come may?
lastly to extend should I just take the usual documents needed to extend ? Copy of passport photo . Visa stamp. Passport photo and the 1900 baht ?
-
So at a time we are all supposed to be locking ourselves in the house tourists are supposed to cram ourselves into a immigration office worrying about catching corona.. genius idea Thailand!! Why not just do it automatically ?
My tourist visa extension ends on 2nd April and I now need to get the non b visa how do I go by doing that?
i am waiting for my work permit acceptance letter still and I imagine things have slowed down with that due to this corona nonsense.
Do I just have to pay 1900 to extend my tourist visa for another 30 days or change to a non b in Thailand ? How do I do that? I thought you had to leave the country ?
the plan was to go to Vietnam and all the other neighbouring countries to process visas are a disaster from what I’ve been told. Can’t fly anywhere anyway so will they change me over to the none b here? And how? What do I need
-
i know you can get it from here in boots in thailand but its the brand name propecia and its expensive.
I can get a month of finasteride for £13 back home from a reputable source, will customs cause a fuss about someone sending in a few boxes of finasteride? its FDA aproved as as i say they sell it here its not as though im bringing in Coke.
Also i know you can get 'Proscar' and ' Firide ' here but still doesnt seem to be very cost effective my cheapest option appears to be getting it from UK and getting someone to send it to me in Bangkok.
Thanks
Thanks.
-
So I already extended my 60 day TR visa on March 3 this will give me until April 2 next week... the gov have announced we can extend again but it doesn’t say if there is the usual 1900 fee ?
Also I am reading that I need to get a letter of some kind but I need ‘proof of my flight leaving thailand’
well I haven’t booked a flight to leave yet because I’ve been watching this corona B.S get worse everyday so it just made no sense to book a flight while every other country is closing it’s borders so what should I do ?
-
So the government have announced tourists can extend their visa for an extra 30 days due to COVID... It mentions nowhere if this is free or going to cost the usual 1900 baht.. anyone know ?
How am I supposed to leave Thailand to process my non b because for some genius reason Thailand changed the law that you have to process your non b outside of Thailand now ..
my employer is still waiting for the work permit acceptance application to come back from the boi, the plan was to process the non b in Vietnam and fly back to Thailand.. everywhere is in lockdown now and I can’t go to Vietnam or leave thailand as things appear to get worse by the day.
it makes absolutely no sense to fly anywhere or even go back to my own home in UK where the corona virus is worse than here. So how on earth am I supposed to get this non b ? Can they just change it here it Bangkok due to the circumstances? My tourist visa runs out on April 2.

What do they do if you can’t afford the fine? Or refuse to pay it?
Im guessing some people don’t have that kind of money or ... they wanna be clever and refuse to pay
Let’s say your British and they stick you in the can.. do they British embassy not get involved or actually do anything to help you or you just have to serve your time? Presuming you have no money to pay the fine, no deporting? I’ve read you can be deported at your own expense but what if you can’t even afford that? Lmao
I have no intention of going to Pattaya let alone Pattaya beach I’m just curious
