  1. I made my own could not find one on chiang mai. Bought a electric timer and water sloenoid valve for a clothes washing machine (amorn shop) has replacement parts and mounted in a extra cicuit breaker box i had. Use mine for out door watering though.....

Probably would have bought one though if i could have found one . anyway nice little project on a Sunday afternoon and 300 baht. Global had all the irrigation fittings lines etc you need...

  2. Global house has them . About 80,000 baht or so if i remember right. Not sure for inside or out but would work outside i think put on a patio or overhang etc....I have the same idea for out side but want the old california round wood hottub. Want to find the wood tub (california craigs list) here for free Pumps jets etc can take apart and put on a slow boat over... reassemble there and use the 220 volt heater system as opposed to gas...

  3. Chang for me just kills me... ok taste but the hanger and the stomach the next day... no thanks no more of chang. Leo no problem with hanger or stomach..... Archa tastes ok but made me feel no energy lethargic and bit depressing. Switched back to leo and all was good again.... same as my friend we both changed same time and both were feeling same way

  4. I brought 2 pellet rifles in to thailand last year from states. Took them apart and wrapped in them up in shrink and bubble wrap. Packed in tha bag the retsrictions list for the airline (eva) and the tsa stuff and taped to the items. Thought i would just let them go but at last minute changed my mind and let eva know they were in my checked baggage. said should not be a problem and he would notify head office (taipei). So off i went to airport. no problem u.s. side... and really no problem thai side. Since i was flying in to bkk and directly out to c.m. had my bags tagged for c.m. They did get held up in bkk for a while but i went out to get them later in the day and customs opened one bag and barely looked in it. Said thank you and i was on my way....

Living out in maejo near colf course love having em for the occasinal rats , tookays and mangy soi dogs.....

  5. Sergio is a nice guy and i myself have never had a bad meal there or seen any rats.

( Usually pizza for lunch) not that they don't have them. But i must say his pizzas are pretty good considering the price and what you get for the money.......

  6. a month or so ago amorn had a whole case of solar panels (45 watt) approx 3 feet x 3.5 ft. wanted 3500 each i think for them. was going to buy a few. not sure still there though you know how that store is...

  7. I am in maejo by golf course. I chose to install the carbon ceramic uv light filter system under sink. I have good water already and have drank from the hose didn't seem to have any ill effects..... water is clear and clean no staining in toilets sinks etc. convienent i like it......

someday will take a sample before and after filter and take it to cmu and have analysis....

  8. yeah i have a few nice pellets guns i brought over last trip you can borrow when i get back in a few months ..... i am in maejo as well near the golf club..

been doing away with a vew rats tookays etc myself....

  9. I had one done by korokot and her implant specialist dr jarunee trained in germany about 5-6 yrs ago when she was at cm dental hospital. Before she was on her own. Think i paid about $7-800.00 back then total everything. was a titanium screw from states which was most of the expense if i remember. Did not feel a thing from start to finish was also a molar lower jaw done.

last year was feeling a little loose so i went and saw here at her new place (grace) and she pulled the file said she gauranteed it and that they can come loose over time. drilled out the cap got out the torque wrench made it tight and fixed it. no problems at all.

I think she is probably quite expensive now to pay for her new digs and latest equipment over in neimenhaimen (spelling)....... but very pleasant woman and staff......

  10. Just bought one of these at target for $27.00 usd. Was going to bring over next trip. Wonder if its worth it or not to bring?? SOunds like the same thing there. Mixed results???

They say to move it away from people to attract mossies away from you and kill them...

Not sure if they really do any good..............

  11. i hAVE 2 AUTO/ADJUSTABLE HELMETES IN MAEJO (OUTSIDE CHIANG MAI) I USE FOR FLUXCORE WIRE WELDING and they work great. One is new in box and other is used. I think i paid about $60 for it USD and brought them with me from states. would probably sell it for that amount. Won't be back until december though. Also i saw them in the Chinese hardware (what other kind is there) in chiang mai. On the fish market road behind the big fruit market on the ping river near the us consulate. Its the first major road behind fruit market. Big shop has alot of stuff and even some wire feed welders but no flux cored wire machines only gas when i was last there a year or so ago.. Also had some gas mig welders at the big tool shop corner of super highway and chotana road (or the road that leads to mae rim from super highway interecstion). I think its one of the only super highway intersections not completed yet...........

  12. I have knwon Ron for 5-6 yrs. I talked to him about 3 weeks ago and he is indeed back in the states( i am here as well now) trying to eek out a living. Never really knew the straight facts i felt whenever i talked to him about these things..

but yes his steaks where fantastic as well as his ceasar salad.

also heard she has a new sponor (or two)

I was surprised how long he stayed around, considering all the money that he was supposed to owe.

I know that he left his girlfriend in the lurch with lots of expensive bills and no money, however, I was told that she had hooked a new tilac within a few months.

I must admit one thing, his steaks were really good! :o
