I have often asked on Thaivisa if Thailand was the only country with the nonsensical 90 day report, no one has ever said that any other country does it.
Maybe someone more in the know can verify.
I put the question to anyone that can answer:
’Is Thailand the only country in the world that operates 90 day report for foreigners?’
thanks.

No, Thailand is the only country that treats retirees like criminals in this way.
Really?
thought i read somewhere that south korea and china adopt something similar..
im truly shocked that Thailand is the only country that does this .

Just thinking, if the proposed plans for 24 hr lockdown were put in place then how we would extend our visas?
wouldnt we then be in breach of the 24 hr lockdown by going out to the inmi office?
or will the 24hr lockdown Be for thai nationals only?

Just the beer and money ... don't get confused.
Funny, because back then I had no money.
I stayed at a small beach hut (400 a night) and took about 5,000 cash in hand for the week.still managed to get laid every single night.

A deadly disgrace.
we are living in 2020 and still this kind of stuff cannot be done with any kind of certainty online.
the online reporting is hit and miss at best. Anyone claiming otherwise is a bare faced liar. All these visa stuff should be done online, especially in the midst of a crisis like we are in now.
its backward if you ask me!

i was on soi 6 once during a power failure and the girls brought out candles.
it was great, no blasting music and it was dark and very romantic.
experienced that a few times myself.
I remember the power going out for about 12 hours on samed around 2008..
started at 5pm and didnt come back on till 5am.
we sat their all night surrounded by candles and a table full of booze.
some thai guy brought out his acoustic guitar and played a few songs.
the girls loved it.
they were latching on to any man they could find, giving out hugs and kisses like they were going out of fashion.
seems the darkness really brings out the best in these girls! ????

Lots of people come on holiday with just enough to last and maybe 100 quid for an emergency.
If all they have is 100 quid to their name then they shouldn't be traveling at all!

No sympathy whatsoever from me.
You roll the dice then you face the music.
Should have stayed in Chorley.
Saying that, I can see why they wanted out ????

foreigners coming to live in another country out of free will, marry their favorite prostitute, and insyead of some gratitude their favorite pasttime seems to be Thailand bashing.
You cant make that <deleted> up.
Seriously. Extreme difficult situation. Fines are used as a way so ppl will get the message and obey. Thailand, and MANY OTHER COUNTRIES do it.
Your cynical denigrating comment towards the very ppl who have to do this dificult job is DISPICABLE.
Try fining a Thai 20,000 for the same thing.
they would laugh in your face!
