I’ve noticed your corona leanings in your posts and it made me wonder if their sales have indeed been affected by this and would not be surprised if they had.

I bet it has that’s why they should have named it the Kung Flu virus. I mean why bring Mexico into your problems? It comes from China.

Yes, it is quite safe. Over 600,000 people worldwide died from a flu last year. Flu viruses are everywhere. This is a tiny blip on the screen so far. If I were planning a trip here, this would not affect my decision to come. But, most will not feel that way.

This is really going to hurt tourism. What the authorities do not seem to get is that quantity over quality is never a good thing, unless you are selling one dollar items at a swap meet. It just lowers the quality of the experience for all. The tourism industry is teetering on the edge of a tragic drop, and has already been devastated by this highly destructive administration. All it needs now is a spread of this virus. It could crush millions of families dependent on tourism. I already know one family that has cancelled their trip over here. Why take a chance, is going to be the typical attitude. Who can trust the Thai authorities, and what they say? Why trust them? What have they done to earn that trust? And how many flights from China, are still coming into Thailand daily? That is a scary thought. I like the Chinese people, but do not want to be anywhere near them right now! My guess is that the majority of the world feels that way, and tourists have alot of choices. The last thing in the world a tourist wants out of their trip is a potentially deadly disease, or being quarantined.

However, sometimes wonderful things arise out of hardship and suffering. The people here seem to be getting angry at the administration. It is about time. Something needs to wake up the population, and encourage them to rise up and resist the massive corruption and incompetence engulfing this nation. Perhaps the massive drop in tourism will be just such a magic pill. Prayuth should tender his resignation now. He has shown the nation that he is not up to the task, and has consistently refused to appoint people based on merit, or talent. Get out now. You are not needed, you are not wanted, and you are despised by the masses.

Oh hell yeah its horrible for the economy and total recall of all Corona beer needs to go into effect immediately! Prayuth has nothing to do with it I think the CEO of the Corona company should resign now and apologise to the world.

Seeing first hand how catering to just one group of tourists is a bad economic strategy.   If the Chinese elites do not change their eating habits, this will continue, as it has done in the past.  Instead of eating a bat or a rare Chinese alligator, have some broccoli instead.

Yes, I agree and they need to stop producing Corona. You know something crazy? I thought that beer was made in Mexico!!! Who knew! And it’s still on the shelves of grocery stores!! Unbelievable!

Hello from Krabi Town! I am pretty worried and it's a little alarming that all hand santiziers and face masks have sold out in the city!

Anyway, are there destinations in Thailand where Chinese don't tend to go? Obviously Phuket, Bangkok and CM are super popular. Have not see too many of them in Krabi thankfully!

I’m think massive class action lawsuit against the Corona beer company.

The correct answer to that question must be taken in the general context.

If unsanitary food doesn't get you the highways will. If you survive breathing the air and drinking the water then it might be time to worry about coronavirus.

This is scary! When are they going to start recalling the infected bottles of Corona and stop this thing? It’s insane. I know it’s bad for business but people are dying.

The only thing that surprises me about this story is that the hag didn't take money when it was offered.

Wellll, it might’ve been too nasty and no amount of money is worth that especially if she didn’t flush or if she might’ve stopped up the toilet.

Why did they name the virus that? Are they trying to hurt Corona’s stock or something? Honestly until China at least starts being honest about it I have to agree with what some people have been posting and maybe they should temporarily restrict Chinese flights. China lies about everything as it is so they need to be taught a lesson anyway especially after what they did in Hong Kong recently.

You know I was thinking about what I said here and it’s complicated because you know we cannot punish the Chinese people because of their government by restricting flights from China but, that’s how it rapidly spreads by people travelling. So I don’t know about that or my post. Keep doing our thing I guess just like after any other tragedy, can’t let it win. Just like the fear after 9-11 can’t just stop living. Maybe my above post is wrong.

    What about your eyes?

Well it’s sort of the same way people take precautions against radiation poisoning. This doesn’t stop every germ obviously but for a health care worker around sick patients all the time it could make a huge difference. Same way nothing totally stops all radiation all you can do is reduce your exposure. I wouldn’t want to be a nurse in China right now.

400,000 die each year from flu. That is 1,096 a day. So far just over 100 have died over the last couple of weeks from WuFlu. Keep it all in proportion folks!!

Well the thing is no one really knows the real numbers inside China. There’s unconfirmed reports that there could possibly be 90,000 people infected. But no one really knows for sure. They already know the Chinese government has already quarantined at least one entire city and they are rapidly springing up emergency hospitals in the area where the military is apparently not letting people leave the city. No one ever likes the way China does things and rightfully so but China they will take care of business. Even if it’s something really bad that the world doesn’t get to see unfortunately. But hopefully they will allow it to be an international effort if they can’t handle it if God forbid it does get out of control because apparently they are nowhere near a vaccine yet. This one is probably a potential nightmare scenario for the WHO and CDC in the states.

And I can’t imagine how the poor Corona CEO must feel, sad situation.

Your not in safe hands. Dont go shopping if you dont need to unless you want to die or kill your family and friends unecessarly because you did!!

This is what people need to hear. It shows you care when you tell people to do the right thing to protect themselves.

And whatever you do don’t drink Corona!

I doubt that you did your extensions at the quoted Immig Office.

I can assure you that this mob do a home visit EVERY year.

Maybe because we live only 20 minutes away, and they.like the outing......especially this year in the new Beemer.

Naw, they don’t it’s a one time thing when you get your first extension based on marriage either that or you bring witnesses depending on the province. But no immigration office does it every year lol unless maybe the IOs have reason to be suspicious about someone maybe.

I couldn't possibly understand how they did it all in 15 minutes. I had over an inch of paperwork when I did mine, that would be 5 seconds per page (took me 7 hours).

When I did my last extension earlier this month based on marriage I probably would have been done in an hour or less probably 30 minutes or less but I had to go back to the bank and get updated paperwork but other than that it went really well. No problems.
