By Goongnang Suksawat Nakhon Si Thammarat – An intoxicated man was arrested with two guns, bullets, and twenty methamphetamine pills near a school to allegedly snatch his child after an argument with his wife. The Central Investigation Bureau Police Region 5 in Nakhon Si Thammarat reported today (October 7th) that they were notified that Mr. Teerapong, who was intoxicated, was heading to a school to snatch his seven-year-old child in the Ron Phibun district after he had an argument with his wife. The shocking incident came only one day after a horrific mass shooting at a daycare center in Nong Bua Lampu. By Tanakorn Panyadee Pattaya — A couple who allegedly operated an entertainment venue involving child trafficking were apprehended in Pattaya along with two foreign suspected child sex offenders. The couple, a Thai national named Ms. A (alias), 43, and a British national named Mr. Tacker, 60, were arrested yesterday, October 6th, by Pattaya police for allegedly colluding to operate a child sex trafficking ring and luring minors into prostitution among several other charges. A police investigation determined that the two reportedly ran an undisclosed entertainment venue on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya to exploit minors for prostitution. Bowin police and rescue services rushed to an incident scene in the That Thong subdistrict of Bowin district in Chonburi after receiving a report about a 2-year-old girl who got crushed to death by a tractor yesterday, October 6th. The girl suffered severe head injuries and lost her life on the spot. Her father, Mr. Sai Mon, 27, was found at the scene, mourning the loss of his young daughter. ACM Alongkorn said the 50:50 chance of procuring the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II jets would more or less depend on an international political situation surrounding Thailand and the Southeast Asian community as well as world superpowers. The newly-named air force chief did not elaborate, however. ACM Alongkorn said the air force has planned to buy the first couple of F-35A stealth fighters for a combined price of 7.38 billion baht with the use of its annual budget between fiscal 2023 and 2026. Mr. Phawit (surname withheld), or Ken, 33, admitted that at 5 a.m. yesterday morning just as he was shutting his shop he saw that his friend was involved in a punch-up with a foreign man. He then stepped in to help his friend by using his skateboard to bash the tourist’s head and after that hit him twice on the face. Although he quickly escaped, he was arrested at his home in Nonthaburi today. He added that the fight ensued after the foreign tourist looked at his friend’s girlfriend and tried to approach her. And they called for the government to take action and introduce measures that might prevent a repeat of the tragedy. The messages were led by party chief Dr Chollanan Srikaew who expressed his sorrow about the events that unfolded in Nong Bua Lamphu yesterday that resulted in the deaths of 38 people including 24 young children. He spoke of the "cruel execution of innocent lives".
