Biden was very probably right. However, being right in politics almost always guarantees opprobrium from the wailing Greek chorus of PC's.
IMO he was making the point any black person who votes for Trump needs a straitjacket.

Apparently (I wouldn't know personally) but there is a lovely selection of girls looking for 'love' on Soi 4 BKK
Not the usual ladies of the night either!

You know what , this virus isn't going away
Viruses tend to kill people who are weak
A lot of people in Thailand right now have no money
No money = little food, little food = worsening health
Worsening health = even more susceptible to viruses
In the Bengal famine hardly anybody died of starvation
Over 90% died of malaria and other viruses because their bodies were too weak to fight

They should re-open borders but only allow entry to those that come from countries (or spent at-least the preceding month in that country) that are confirmed to be free of the virus.
There is a 20 minute test being developed in the UK but even that would cause huge queues entering the country
You've just got to let nature take it's course, the economic costs are just too great to carry on in this catatonic state

And that's exactly why they don't let you in. Well done.
You want to come and happily spread Covid19 to others.
Thais have to rely on their public hospitals.
You, instead, will have private insurance, get the best treatment, and if things turn sour you probably get repatriated by air ambulance, insurance pays.
Just follow TVF, so many farangs don't believe in corona, don't care about others - even their governments don't care.
When 95% in the BTS started to wear masks, back in March, it was invariably farangs who were walking around with naked faces.
They feel rules are not relevant. They don't even want to wear a mask - who would trust these people about quarantine?
They think they are smarter than Thais. Just peruse TVF to see their racist superiority complex.
These people are dumb and dangerous.
Yes, Thailand wants their money.
But the risks are just too high.
Yeh just close all borders forever, job done
Are you for real??
Maybe you should live in a zorb ball and let the rest of the world get on with living.......not in fear
There are literally thousands of ways to die and this is just another one.
Maybe they should ban mosquitoes too, they originally came from South Africa.
Dengue fever kills plenty of people too

Perhaps its time for the Thai government to focus on the scum with severe measures. 500 baht fines are a joke. Make it hurt 50,000 baht fines to make it sink in . This bunch who's numbers are in the thousands need to be dealt with. It harms the foreigners who do not spend their days in bars , drunk on the streets and making themselves a national disgrace.
You are absolutely obsessed with other foreigners.
It must be so unhealthy to have this on your mind 24/7
Every single post is about scumball foreigners and their actions
Where do you find all these scumballs?
I hardly ever see foreigners acting disgracefully
Maybe 15 years ago when Thailand was cheap and the European currencies strong but not now.
You must live in a truly terrible place to encounter people like this on a daily basis
I feel sad for you.....................almost

Yeh but the virus has probably been here since last year and the schools didn't close til March.
I can't remember any schools being closed due to all the teachers becoming sick, unless it was hushed up (which is always a possibility here)
I'm not sure kids have any role to play in this either as becoming sick or passing it on
If they did I think we would have much higher figures all over the world

You know why Thailand is being ultra conservative re opening the borders?
Because most of the people who are making the decisions are fat old men
The most susceptible to the virus
Selfish pigs

Is there? why isn't it at the airport then?
Its no good having a Covid-19 test in the UK then getting on a plane and catching it.
That said, how long after exposure would it take for us to register as positive on the test?
If we have had Covid-19, many of us may without knowing, are we immune? does immunity prevent us from being carriers?
As you wrote, so 'I assume everyone entering is already infected' (I don't - but thats what quarantine is for) its a 'schrodingers cat' approach, everyone both has the virus and doesn't until its proven by either test or by quarantine.
A new strain in China has incubation time well over 14 days
The cure has become far deadlier than the virus
