That's with Qatar, my check in last week with Emirates was a breeze, plenty of security staff on hand to get people through, was A380 aircraft, pre booked my seats, bulkhead behind me, so no seat kickers, you can book certain seats for free. So, seems like Emirates is the choice, departed 14.30 and arrived BKK around 13.30 next day.
No problems with Qatar either when I flew back from MAN a few weeks ago. Looks like Manchester Airport have sorted out their post covid staffing issues. A friend flew Easy Jet to Europe about the same time, & no problems.

Flew in from Manchester UK last week with Emirates via Dubai nothing shown on check in, nothing shown Dubai to Bangkok, nothing asked for at immigration, every immigration desk was open, easy
Qatar were checking vaccination record at MAN a couple of weeks ago.

A flood did not do as much damage as it does today.
But a lot of urban areas have expanded onto known flood plains.

I'm in Chiang Mai (Mae Jo/Mae Rim area), does anyone have any recommendations for a doctor I could see
I recommend the Loy Kroh clinic, on Loy Kroh road, & Dr Morgan on Hangdong road. Both great GPs.

They were stating what they consider as being fully vaccinated.
But for a Thailand Pass and entry to the country only 2 vaccination shots are required.
Are there any rules about how long since the second shot? My second shot was late September. Will return to Thailand late August, so 11 months after second shot.

Section 1347. The owner of a piece of land may cut off and keep roots of a tree or bush which have penetrated from the adjoining piece of land. Section 1348. Fruits falling naturally upon adjoining land are presumed to be fruits of such land.

Can the neighbour bill the land owner for work carried out to trim overhanging trees?

When I renewed my UK passport a year ago, VFS told me "11 weeks turnaround for new passport, but usually takes 3 weeks".
Arrived after 3 weeks, as the passport office normally expediates delivery for overseas applicants.
Not guaranteed though.

Never happen, no brainer, no seatbelts in the rear of cab space picksups, what do motor bikes do?? Can average Thais afford proper child seats at 2 - 10,000 B per seat. Cost of upgrades to vehicles with out anchor points. etc, etc.
There are no rear seatbelts in 2 door pickups, coz legally there are only 2 seats (driver & passenger), & passengers aren't supposed to be squeezed in the back.

Also all of us will now need to consider buying 7 seaters car because with this law, children will be treated as adult with car seats. So a family of more than 5 can no longer travel in a 5 seater car.. think about it...
Insurance only covers the number of passengers the vehicle is designed to carry.
Think about it...

I stopped at the highway police station not far from Promenada. According to the officer, 90 km is the speed limit on Every highway in Thailand. That is obviously incorrect, but I went to the government bank and paid the 500 baht because it may really be 90kmh on the section where I was photographed, near Central Festival.
There very clear signs heading north on superhighway, south of middle ring road flyover showing speed limit is 90. Not seen them heading south, away from the city, but would assume speed limit is the same. The only speed camera I know is outside the highway police station, under the flyover for hwy 3029 (middle ring road). Whilst we are talking about cameras, don't pass through the traffic lights at the intersection next to Promenada on orange. will cost you another 500bt ????

Now that entry restrictions to Thailand are being relaxed, looking to visit UK after 3 years stuck here.
Want to fly BKK-MAN-BKK.
Looking for airline recommendations, & would like to know if all airlines are back to serving alcohol in economy class. Specifically Qatar & Emirates.
Cheers

I'm not looking for private, one on one tuition. I'm wondering if there exists on-line schooling, similar to what schools are providing whilst kids are locked out of school due to covid, but without all the overheads & expense of a bricks & mortar school. Would've been a great business opportunity for the last 12 months or so.
A friend has pulled his boy from international school here for similar reasons, but is using an on-line school catering for UK GCSE exams. Is there something similar that follows Thai curriculum?

This last year has been a disaster, with most of it on-line. Govt shows no signs of opening up & accepting we live with this virus.
Looking for recommendations for next school year on-line. Are there reasonably priced options, rather than paying current school fees with no discount? 70,000 bt per semester to stay at home is a joke. Hopefully, by May, things will be back to close to normal, but if it looks like a continuation of this last year, I'd like to have a back up plan & pull my boy from regular schooling.
Marriage extension under consideration time running out.

The system needs an upgrade. Ridiculous that we aren't free to travel whilst "under consideration" every year.
