Thanks Yorkshire,
Is komoot what novacova showed in his images ?
No.
What I like about komoot is you can use it on desktop pc as well as on the phone.
There are probably many similar apps for the phone, & they all seem to use the same data from OSM maps.

With komoot.com you can plan your routes on your desktop, then access using their app on your phone. Can even store offline version of the map on your phone. all roads, trails & paths are updated as soon as OSM is updated by users. OSM = open source mapping.

Will it include off-duty cops getting drunk while carrying their guns?

The rainy season has hardly ended and the morons start burning again
They never stop burning. It's just that the rain clears the air, so no rain = smoke doesn't clear. TIT.

I wouldn't have thought there was any need for them now, with mapping apps such as komoot.

Don't worry, the local authorities will be burning all the grass verges around Chiang Mai soon :-)

Often get free shipping. Collect the vouchers, then click use voucher, then search for the item you want. Not all sellers accept the free shipping vouchers, so look for those that do.

Hopefully breathing equipment, as pictured, to protect them from the smoke. Or will they be issued the usual surgical masks?

Always crowded though.
Been less busy post-covid. The clinic was closed for a long time during the pandemic. I've visited a couple of times since they re-opened & not so long a wait in the morning.

Can apply 45 days early at Chiang Mai immigration.
The "under consideration" date will be 30 days from your permission to stay stamp. At least it is in my case. Applied early October, but under consideration to mid December.

Mountain bike or road bikes? Or, just a guided tour around the rice fields on granny bikes?

Interesting. Last year I had a metal fused porcelain crown at my High Street dentist for 8,000. No root canal required. However, their charges for root canal, post and crown are 20,000.
Price depends on which type of tooth.

Rolled on it's side? hmmm. Don't see that. But then I only see what is actually there.
It's in the linked report. I saw more photos on facebook. Engine on it's side.

The tracks are/were fine; the ballast seems to have been shifted by the flood and that shifted the sleepers as well. The result of that is derailment - minor with what looks to be only a couple of cars.
Minor? The engine rolled onto it's side.

This move is expected to open up the northern region to more international tourists arriving on direct flights.
Middle of night arrivals? From China?

Volume changes with temperature. Not sure by how much, but a cold beer from the fridge will have smaller volume than a warm one.
F1 measures fuel by weight, not volume.

There are a lot of comments on here about the lack of action on the roads by the police, well I would like to know how much action you would take as a police officer on the roads if you had to supply and pay for your own uniform, gun, bullets, transport and be paid a low income instead of like the police in the western countries that are supplied with everything by their government and paid a decent wage. The only highway patrol cars that I have seen working here were all involved with escorting the snobs of Thailand. I have never seen any of them out patrolling the highways and why should the police officers have to use their privately owned scooter (110/115cc Honda Clicks, 115cc Yamaha Mio's) and pay for the fuel to perform high speed chases. Why does the government not supply the police officers with the right equipment to perform their duties properly and pay them a decent wage the same as the western countries do. If they did this then the police could do their jobs properly and patrol the roads and catch the law breakers and the government would collect a lot of money in fines to pay for this plus they could even reduce the road toll as well..
Highway police buy their own police cars?
What Car would you buy now sub 800k Baht

My 2001 Strada pickup leaves most cars behind at lights. Apart from boy racers & delivery truck drivers, most Thais are very slow out of the blocks ;-)
