  1. Any good business to buy in Thailand right now?  I have been running English teaching schools in China and have many years of electronics/high tech experiences in the US and China.

Like to make Thailand more of a permanent base and am interested in business opportunities.

Have lots of free time now.  Please free free to drop me a note!  Best,

  2. Domestic tourism does not bring in the high roller foreign tourists.  Thai salaries being so low, it is hard for business to charge a premium and make good profits.

Bring in more foreign tourists by getting rid of the red tapes and bureaucracies.  Don't spend more money in Thailand but like to have more convenience and less hassle with visa and other <deleted>.

With respects, who counts as a 'lower risk' country ? The ones that fiddle their figures ?

There is no denying the irony of no risk country for China.  But we have to practice: it is what it is. If you randomly test 1000 Chinese now VS 1000 Europeans VS 1000 Americans, you would know who is low risk.

World is full of complex issues.  What we talking about here is how to save the Thai tourism industry from unnecessary further damage.  Focus on the issue at hand.

  4. It is obvious that Thailand should allow people from low risk countries to come ASAP.  Tourists from similar or lower risk countries should be welcomed back before Thai tourism industry are fatally damaged further.

    From the article,

Following the country’s shut down in early March, millions have lost their jobs, either permanently or temporarily, and the tourism industry, which Thailand relies on so heavily, is amongst the hardest hit. With the number of new Covid-19 cases currently following a downward trend, Dhanin says the time to act is now.

“We can’t wait until a vaccine is developed and produced in sufficient quantity to roll out to the entire population. The economy won’t survive that long.”

I agree 100%.  Open the gate, Mr. PM.

Where is this so-called second wave going to come from exactly ?Can't possibly be by sea as the beaches are closed. There are still a couple hundred hookers ( I mean hostesses ) being repatriated this week from UAE but they've already been quarantined and tested and fully certified grade A....then quarantined another 14 days on arrival. Darn, forgot what I was rambling about ...Oh yeah second wave will come from China when they allow flights from China to resume...then what ?

what exactly is second wave? You pretty much can call anything second wave.  Is a single new case considered a second wave?  If not, how many?  Can anyone be specific about it??

Let us get back to our life and it is economical issue by now!  Is it still not clear at this point in time?  How many people get killed (55) and how many get infected (3000)?  Time to loosen up Thailand.  There are a lot cheaper way to get that kind of results!!

The thing is that really not up to Thailand to say yes or no, China says Open Thailand will open covid-19  or not, and beside, Thailand desperately need tourists to come back and spend big and if it will cost more sics and death, so be it...

Indeed, Thailand want Tourists back BADLY!  There is no restriction from China side as we speak.  No exit restrictions for Chinese nationals to leave the country.  As soon as flights are open from China to thailand, Chinese will come.  If no flights, Chinese will have to come through laos via land.
