You think it's easier for them to help you when you're on overstay? I don't follow that logic. Only puts you in a position to be extorted for more or you could find yourself in the IDC and deported.
No , i went and sought a lawyer counseling the same day.

You're not on overstay, they gave you a 7 day extension.
The 7 day extension would have cost me 1900 baht , and if i apply for it , then an agent probably wont be help me.

You haven’t got 9000 baht?
Maybe you should go home if you haven’t got 300 bucks to your name
my point its not guaranteed , and for only two months. and if it failed i have to pay more for overstaying , better leave and come back another time.

OP, if you really want to stay here, start contacting agents today, ASAP.
There is no guarantee that they can help, but every minute you wait for is a waste of the short time you have to act.
Good luck!
Already did , she told me if they can do it (and thats a big IF) , will cost me atleast 9000 baht for two month extension , the only option left for me now is to leave immediately .

Let's look at it this way, Thai immi is already too generous in approving your extension for almost two years
You already knew long ago that this is going to be temporary and should have a plan B.
I acknowledge that , what i was objecting to is they told me this in the last minute , which instantly put me on an overstay .

Actually if he went yesterday before the new order came into effect, he probably would have received the extension without issue. If the IO stamped he has 7 days to leave, I don't think even an agent can help at that point.
Actually i went to the immigration office yesterday , and they told me to come tomorrow , and i dont think it makes much of a difference coz they would have given me an "under consideration" stamp for one month then reject giving me an extension anyway .

As the title says , today at immigration office , the officer had a look at my passport for the covid extension stamps (im been in thailand since the beginning of the epidemic ) and told me no more extension will be granted for me and i got only 7 days to leave the country , as per him this is a new rule issued today. i only wish if this was stated earlier so i have enough time to arrange for my departure .

I think it will still be available until they enough tourists to replace everybody that is getting them.
They were started to help businesses that were affected by the covid 19 pandemic.
Do you think its likely to be enough tourists by march ?.... even though the peak suppose to be in December - January ?

It is not restricted to certain countries. Anybody can apply for one.
What documents required for this visa ...do they need an embassy letter?
-
10 minutes ago, ubonjoe said:
That would be correct for a 60 day extension starting on November 30th. It would be until January 29th.
But you would have to apply for it and pay the fee.
Is that for people of all visa types ...and does it require an embassy letter ?...or just 3900 baht?

Do you have a extension of stay stamp now or a under consideration stamp done in at Muang Thong Thani.
i already got the extension to stay upto 26th Oct , so i understand i suppose to be able to get automatic extension till the 30th november , so you saying i can go to bangkok and get the extension now?? .. coz they told me its based on my nationality
-
back in September i got my visa extended through an embassy letter till the 26Oct in Chang Watthana BKK , so as per the new law im entitled to extend my visa till the end of November , when i got to the immigration office in Pattaya they basically told me two things , i only can get this stamp in bangkok (since i got the original extension there) secondly i cant do it now i have to wait till the end of October , funny because i know plenty of people who already got that stamp already , they told me it depends on your nationality , so i asked if i went to Bangkok now will i get the extension or probably they gonna tell me the same thing that i should get back to them at the end of October , they replied they cant guarantee that... why they leave it till last minute ? isnt the point of the extension is to reduce the congestion at the immigration offices ? ... and if they gonna leave it till last day then they have no choice but give the extension coz it will be too late for me to find a flight.

You could try the nearest office and see what happens, you might get lucky.
i hope so , its mind boggling that i have to travel for 3-4 hours just to get a stamp while the nearest office is 10 minutes away.

Ubonjoe knows his stuff - if he say's the same office, then it surely must be the same office
He was talking about someone under consideration stamp , this is different i already got my extension till 26OCt.

You have to go to the office where you applied for the extension.
I got the extension prior 26th September to end 26th October in BKK , can i apply for the 30th November stamp in a different province or i have to go back to BKK office?

Did you apply for a 30 day extension before September 26th.
I got my extension stamp on 8th September :)...
27 minutes ago, ubonjoe said:you may be allowed to stay until November 30th.
Just wanted to know when they officially gonna announce it... if they dont this week can we safely assume is not gonna happen and start getting our embassy letters ready?

It was posted in the royal gazette and I did a topic about it yesterday. It is effective from the September 27th to 31st of this month.
So you advice people who wish to stay beyond October for another month to start getting their embassy letters or this automatic extension can be officially announced this coming week?

Well... if it was gonna be done under the table and through contacts then my nationality shouldnt matter .

there are 1000's of law abiding black people in thailand so you might need to quote for us the sources of you perceived "proportion" , and by your logic then white men cause more trouble than Thais or Asian men , its a matter of proportion right?? , and why it matters unless you are calling for racial profiling.
