Don't expect sympathy from a lot of the bludgers on here, they have hearts of stone. "I'm alright Jack" is their motto. You'd expect support from your fellow farang, but many just seem to revel in your unhappiness. There's a core on here whose smug replies I've come to expect. It's why I very rarely as advice from the forum. Good luck to those with family here who're having difficulties, I genuinely hope you manage to get back in the near future.
No were not hard, we planned carefully and responsibly.

I often wonder about Ferangs here. They think all those Friends are Friends, rarely they are, just drinking buddies in reality.

No matter what C.P. or any other successful Companies do here ,there is this hardcore element of Ferang Malcontents Posters who just hate being a failure n so just bash Thais.

Please, please don't ever ask the Thais to make bread or pastry.
People who normally put the least effort into doing anything cannot possibly make good breads or pastries.
Good delicious breads or pastries are made by people who are proud of their job and take pride in making good quality products. I have not seen such people in Thailand rather unfortunate I must say.
I have eaten a couple of nice thai dishes but generally I find them rather disappointing. Just watery , watery stuff here and there. Using lots of factory made paste or ingredients. Mind you, I am talking about middle-level class restaurants- not those fine dinning types.
You know, if you don't know how to make sauce you are a failure in cooking.
Making sauce is an art- the french have master that art. Well, the Italian too. I am not Thai bashing , please, I need to speak the truth(at times the truth hurts) and in the art of cooking you do need to be honest.
With rare exception the only way to enjoy Fine Thai Dining is to LEAVE. I enjoyed Thai Dishes worldwide till i came to live here. The Restaurant Crud they eat heres fit for the Doggy Bag. Flung together in seconds and MSG laced into the Sugar Gunge. Yes,Fine is available at the Oriental and thats where quality begins to show good Thai Cuisine. Idle sums them up nicely.

There is limited info on this topic to give, and has been given already. There is info to gain as to regarding posters who love the sound of their own voice and tell how much they have learned for a millennial pup. You wont beat a Thai Dealer, just fool yourself that bin liner n insurance is free.

Complete BS. They do not follow the law.
Did you happen to catch the Thai Airways graft story where a maintenance worker charged 419 DAYS of overtime in 1 year? An additional 3 million baht?
That is how the union works.
It doesn't.

Chev have terrible service, long time fix simple job. Famous for terrible. I think problem is USA manager stupid.
Nissan quite good. Good service. Japan manager clever. Japan is number one foreign companys in Thailand.
UK car, eg Jaguar, MG look good, expensive. But broken easy. Is rubbish. Benz, BMW, Audi expensive same, but good quality/strong.
Toyota best car, easy, cheap and strong.
Mitsu best air condition.
Honda quite good.
ThaiRung so so.
Thailand start to make EV. Will be good.
thailand number 1 in SEA. Win again.
Thailand has been a stronghold for automobile manufacturing for decades. It nicknamed itself "the Detroit of Asia," and the moniker stuck, with good reason. It's currently the 12th most industrious auto manufacturer in the world, and the largest in Southeast Asia.
Japanese makers like Toyota and Mitsubishi have had operations in Thailand since the 1960s. GM, Ford, Mercedes and BMW all followed.
