  2. Just to add a bit more gloom. We visit Pats area for 1 week Feb and have done so for years. This year looking at Hotels as we dove at night Wife noted many power cuts. No it was 200 room nice places with 4 lights on.! Talking to Boss of our Jomtien 5 Star he was realy down on all his last years Regarding Chinese Visitors,he inferred that what little they spent went into but a few pockets. Unfortunately *some DLT offices will not accept the Yellow Tabein Baan as Proof of Residence.

It seems idiotic as the Yellow Tabein Baan is as official as it gets regarding Proof of Residence.

I can only assume that ‘someone’ in a position of decision making power at the DLT in *Pattaya has interpreted the rules incorrectly and is stubbornly sticking to their opinion - also known as saving face.

*Pattaya is the only DLT I’ve heard of (read of) which does not accept the Yellow house book / Tabien Baan for a foreigner.

They can spot iffy info even in Yellow House Books. They know some how when Soi Six Sid has used a Bar Girls Parents address as proof to get one.

With regards to gadgets it all depends how much baking you do in a week. I have always made bread (thanks to my mother teaching me at a young age) and if you are only doing 1kg of flour it is easy to just do it by hand. However as more people found out I was making bread I got more requests to knock out some loaves and buns for local expats. Currently I bake twice a week, use about 12kg of Bread flour a week, make different shapes and styles (White Wholewheat, Rye, Sourdough) and now make several types of cakes. I enjoy the baking and it's a great hobby although I am struggling to keep up with demand. As a result you bet I now use a large mixer otherwise my arms would look like Popeye !

The look of that Doe Nut / Hot Dog looking bread puts me right off, you can buy that soggy stuff everywhere. Crusty Old Style Loaf for me.

If you've gone two months and still feel as bad as you say, something is wrong with your diet.  You should provide more specific details about your diet if you want constructive feedback.

I can say that 22 pound in two months is perhaps is excessive, and if you feel run down, your diet may be slowing your resting metabolic rate to unacceptable levels, and that is not a good thing.

You may not just be loosing fat but lean tissue as well, especially if you are only restricting calories without sufficient reduction in carbohydrates.  That is the perfect recipe for becoming "skinny fat" (technically referred to as metabolically obese normal weight or hidden obesity).

Nearly Zero Carbs ,just Steak, Lamb lots veggies and no Beer. as doc at best Hospital suggested. .I go back in 4 weeks. Sad thing i feel like a couple of Leos on Sunday is the bit i miss But wont have.
