Over 13 years ago we saved a soi dog after being hit by a car. The old girl is still with us, Queen of the kitchen at meal time and boss of the bed at night. We also have a chihuahua that thinks its a bull mastiff. He was one of 5 we rescued from a pound. Sadly over the ensuing years we have lost 4 due to old age. To me the perfect dog is one you can pick up when you have to and not develop a hernia in doing so.
