Has anyone else been stopped at Heathrow Terminal 2 by Detective Constable Inspector Peter Pisspot of the <deleted> Valley Border Control and accused of being a Paedophile? Too many immigration stamps from Thailand and Vietnam in the passport (plus a work permit for Thailand) so that both the mobile and PC were scanned for pornography. The whole process took nearly two hours and not even a sorry when the ordeal was completed. It seemed that they were only checking men of the Whitey McWhiteface variety.

Both EVA and TG from BKK to LHR yesterday took 12 hours 30 minutes with multiple changes of course during the flight. Had the pleasure (not!) of flying over Iranian airspace. Both flights experienced nauseating turbulence over the Black Sea.

I worked on the Thames Barrier in London back in the late 70's, early 80's and the piling contractor for the piers was a Dutch company called HBM. Fantastic group of engineers. The two main British contractors were Costain and Tarmac, The consortium was known as CTH.
