It is not law in Germany to wear a mask.
No federal law has been passed, only the states have introduce rules that masks are to be worn on public transport and when in shops. There are many regional variations and mass confusion. Because the evidence on masks is of course very weak. The UK is absolutely right not to bother to introduce a mask duty.
"The government’s scientific advisory group for emergencies (Sage) met on Tuesday to review the evidence on wearing face masks. The Guardian understands that the group is split on the best policy to adopt because the evidence is so weak."
Having looked at the evidence myself I am clear that there is not enough evidence to justify wearing a mask. I won't be wearing one when shopping in Thailand.
This strikes me as pure ignorance.
Why not endeavor to follow a simple social norm that will help put others at ease?
Why feed the xenophobia and ill feeling out of a misplaced sense of righteousness?
For me putting on a mask to walk in to the 7 11 across the street or my local villa market comprises an entire 20 minutes of my day.
What is it exactly that puts you above all this?

I just got off emailing with my Chinese lady and I got dumbfounded.
The way she sounded, the tone of writing, is the (stupid) foreign countries mishandled the COVID, etc.
She has no shame or sorry for the original cause of the epidemic.
The government control of China is as efficient as North Korea.
I don't know whether I would continue this relationship.
Why would one individual chinese citizen need to feel shame for the actions of a government?
In what way is this one person in particular required to offer you apologies?
Was she there? Was she knowingly infected herself and did she book a trip?
As they say on reddit, username checks out.
Id like tp propose an additional category:
Ignorant bigots who view this as the perfect excuse to vent their anti chinese sentiment with impunity.

Ah, now here is a man with a firm grasp of the obvious.

Easy for me to say, but I would walk. There must be other opportunities that provide better employment. Nothing will change so the choice is stay or leave.
you would suspect very, very wrong, i certainly hope you arent giving anyone advice.
thai employment law is very much in favour of the workers and i know of no one without a justified dispute who has not won significant compensation for an employer breach- 4

I'd like to find an auxillary speaker that is amplified, fairly compact and not more than B10,000. I know nothing about "Smart Speakers". Would one or a pair of those be decent? Perhaps a soundbar not more than 30" long?
look into something like these, or any other reputable brand powered speaker, they will blow stuff like creative or any of the computer accessory stuff out of the water.
Dayton Audio MK402BTX Powered Bluetooth 4 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker Pair with 3.5mm Aux In
available on lazada, for sub 7k, alas there is a thai markup involved

And how can it be known he was actually an American, No actual phone calls, never hearing the voice, fake photos and such probably, Maybe it was the supposed other female who was working in conjunction with the Nigerians in their romance scams. It is not newsworthy as other than the woman loosing money, as the rest of the story is unknown....
do you not understand the meaning of quotes?

How long have you lived here? Haven't made any mom and pop shop contacts?
And for those of us not satisfied with a bottle of homg thomg or a box of leo?
I would much rather see sports venues open than the booze ban lifted if it came down to a choice.
Give me a park, beach, cycle track, swimming pool wakepark over a chang any day.

But nobody cares what you do really, why not simply make a decision on your own, rather than belabour the issue here?
