Have you priced the bits up yourself on the internet
Have you had an estimate from another garage
PS A well known poster on this site just suggested to me that maybe you should go and talk to B Quick. Hopefully the bleed nipples are not rusted up

These are NOT the biggest names in golf. The vast majority of those who have defected to the serial killing sponsor tour, are those who have not won for quite some time on the PGA tour, and are just taking advantage of an opportunity to make a fortune, while selling their souls out to the devil.
O, if only the title had started ‘Some OfThe Biggest Names etc’ we wouldn’t have to be seeing another of your whinges now.

I would think if Route #7 was having flooding issues I think many members would have already commented (or it would have been in the news)
Or are you more worried about the route Nonthaburi to #7?
If so, maybe ask a Moderator to move this thread to the BKK forum via the Report Button
Nonthaburi end is ok, am more concerned about between end of Route 7 and BPH, but thanks for the suggestion.

So need to go to BPH tomorrow… using Route 7… is there any problem with flooding… should I take an SUV or would a saloon car be ok. Thank you

Rust-Oleum is quite good. Remove the loose rust and then paint, you will need their thinner for brush cleaning etc

Dear GG, I don’t read your topics and I have only read the title here, but if it’s any help.
We have installed Daikin FTKM18SV2S, that’s the full description. Very efficient and very quite with an SEER of over 22 and good EER. We are having two more installed next week. We are replacing our seventeen year out units as and when. Price around 33Kthb each.and 1Kthb back on the old units.
You take pot luck with the installer. You don’t normally get technicians. BUT if you later have problems, as we did, Daikin sent two to investigte. The system had lost gas. To cut a long story short they gave us a new indoor unit, three year guarantee. From what I could gather it wasn’t the cooing coil but seems they decided to just change it to ensure no further problem.
We have now found a company who use their own team. They are excellent and speak english.
Have you looked at getting a ceiling cassette, eg Skyair those units use R410A though.
Hope this helps, over and out ????

I read in The Guardian today that Apple have found a security flaw in certain iPhones and iPads. I’m not much up on things like this. Should I be concerned having an iPhone XS and an iPad 9. thank you for any advice.

Thanks mate, super info.

I bet he wishes he had insurance now. I’d be surprised if they even had drivers license. TIT
I’m sure he wished he had first insurance. However I’m sure you are aware that level of insurance is difficult to obtain when a vehicle is a few years old. Of course that might not be the case here. Maybe was just a poor person and hoped to save money.
Stupid and unnecessary comment about driving license. Unfortunately typical smart <deleted> comment

If you have First Class insurance a good policy will cover windscreen replacement without affecting the policy holder's no claims bonus. If not, the costs you have quoted seem fair.
Roojai unfortunately don’t. 3000Baht and 10% loss of NCB.

All, Apologies. I thought I had replied to your messages but it looks like that message never posted. In any event, thought I would update the group on current status. Thank you for your helpful comments.
I did replace the windshield and it cost (parts & labor) 8500 for the windshield and 1500 for the film on the interior side of the windshield.
I did have first class insurance but I was in the process of switching between insurers. It was a minor ding on the windshield that was probably caused by a pebble bouncing off the road and hitting the windshield. Nothing more than a small ding but no cracks. I thought I would do it later but then forgot about it and then switched insurance carriers. The new carrier did a vehicle inspection and noted the ding and told me they would not cover the windshield until I first repaired the windshield - which is why I ended up having to pay for it .....
if it was only a small chip that should have been able to be repaired. Too late now.

Just make sure you have a will else the car might need to be cut into seven pieces at a later date ????

I wonder if Roojai ever read this forum.
Yesterday whilst driving to Kanchanaburi from Nonthaburi a stone hit the windscreen and made just a little more than a chip.
Talked to Roojai today to see the options as we have to pay the first 3000Baht of any claim and see we will loose 10% of our NCD.
We can go to a Ford garage to get it changed but will have to haggle to get the expensive window film changed.
Preferable option is for me to pay for a repair… about 750-1000 Baht. Asked if I did this and it later failed what would happen…didn’t really get a reply.
Anyone any experience of screen repairs and what my preferable option. Is …tks
Late extra … Roojai just phoned my wife and told her if I get it repaired myself then at the insurance renewal I must declare it and the if it fails at a later date I can claim for a new screen … seems chance of win-win. -
If you have any money left after all your ventures.Settle down with an Asian Babe buy a car and a condo and watch your mates, if you have any, chill out while they are with a different babe each night. In other words … O I don’t know ????

Well, the application that I sent in on the 27th, I have just received an e-mail saying APPROVED. I have saved and printed out the approval from my App. Seems the App still works then.
The one that I sent in on Wednesday, advised by e-mail just now 'Not Approved', as expected I guess
Guess I need to have more patience.

The "new" 90 online website doesn't include flight number. Are you using the android app? I've seen reports that it doesn't work now. This is the url of the new system.

I’m using the IMM eService App on iOS and it worked ok three months ago.
I tried to register above and it told me e-mail already registered. Going to use my App again today.

Actually you have those the wrong way around. Sugar in fruits are no problem, too much red meat is not good for you.
No doubt you won’t believe what I have just written, but maybe you will if Google tells you the same. ????

Submitted report on 27th July, I see that it is still pending. Its due date is 9th Aug.
I have checked the application and can't find an error. From this coming weekend will be away until 12th. The only thing that I did different with this application was to add the flight number, I forgot to include it last time.
So could do it in person after we get back, submit again tomorrow or go to Imm this coming Friday.
Lets see what happens tomorrow, but as I understand that I can re-submit it after three days if still pending, is that correct?
Do they have a help line and is it worth trying. Thank you

You are of course correct. But when you run a Merc every Baht counts lol. In the last twelve months or so that 65100 has cost me between £1427 and £1752. Hang on a minute, that few quid would pay for our lunch.
It seems that I completely misunderstand where we are on the Ex Pat Financial ladder. We have quite a nice house, run two cars, holiday whenever we want and same with golf. Yet I value £33 and it appears many don't on this forum, it just goes to show how wrong one can be.,
£33 would go a fair way towards some new 'kit' for the Mrs ????

Wise rate was even better just before 10am. Let’s hope it’s still around there next week when I bring my 65,100 over to keep IMM happy.
