  1. Women from different countries are pretty much the same, you've got good lookers and those not so pleasing to the eye, personally I'd prefer a european woman compared to a Thai, but then some just strike you as 'the one'.

There are some very attractive Thai ladies, like Mrs Robski,

So what are you saying here? You would have liked a European woman but had to settle for Thai Mrs Robski as you could not pull the Euro version? :o

  2. If you think that my mention of a crowd of Thai boys and girls in my first post gives you the idea they were potentially armed and highly dangerous gangsters then you have a strange way of thinking.

If you meant 6 year old children, then i wonder <deleted> you start this thread anyhow? :D

You just grab'em by the ears and slap their behinds. :o

There was no mention of age in the post, it stated a crowd of Thai boys and girls.

please dont twist it to excuse yourself.

    Cheers.

    Jeezas... :D

Your example was the infamous case in the UK, and sorry, the kids involved were 6, or so.

Now, age does matter though, don't you agree?

6 year old kids you give a slap on the backside.

Do the same with a crowd of 17 year old kids and you are history.

And you would watch while a group of 17 year old girls and boys beat a little girl while she was out cold?

  4. There was an incident simmilar to this in the UK a while back, to boys abducted a toddler from a shopping center and beat him to death on some railway tracks.

The little boy was called Jamie. I just find it hard to believe that alot of people on this board would have just called the police and not gone to his aid.

Difference is that the toddler was abducted and beaten to death by 6 year old kids, and not by potentially armed and highly dangerous gangsters, as you will find in the scanario you decribed here in your first post.

  6. I would step in and quit probably join the person on the ground being beaten. But if I lived through it I could at least live with myself knowing I at least tried.

And if you didn't live through it what would you like the BiB to tell your wife and kids?

That he died trying to stop an inocent child from being beaten to death.

  7. I will ask one and all to please keep the thread on topic.

This is a genuine question based on the experience of another member of this forum.

I realy would like to get a feel for what type of people we have living here and what they would do in such a situation.

  8. I'm afraid that I agree that farangs in general are better about "fair fights" than Thais.

A few weeks ago I saw a crowd of Thai boys and girls kick and pound a small Thai girl to the ground and then when she was unconcious they took turns grabbing her by the back of the head and kicking her in the face or slamming her head against the cement.

I've never seen anything like that back home.

I went and got the police, but I don't know if they could save her as I didn't go back as I didn't want the dirtbags to realize that I had turned them in. :o

You did the right thing and a good thing.

Life is too fragile to be put at risk. You helped by reporting it and that's it. I would have done the same even though I might be younger and stronger. I have to take good care of myself for I have the duty of taking care of my family. It would be another case though, if I don't have one.

It's just lucky there are people still willing to put themselves in harms way to help a young child out who is in desperate need of assistance.

I would not have to think about it, there is no choice if you have the power to help the kid. :D

  9. i was told ( by my father in law and brothers in law ) that if i value my own wellbeing to never , ever intervene in any quarrel i might come across in this country , just to cross the road and look the other way , because its not my business.

Don't worry Tax, not all of us will walk on by, if i ever see your wife being beaten up by a guy i WILL intervene, even though it's not my business. :o

  10. You know that this will upset people as many will tell you farangs are the only people that fight one on one :o

Most of those fights seemed to be in City areas of United Kingdom.............................people complain about Thailand being unfair and racist towards Farangs, but I have yet to hear of Thai youths beating up a Farang just cos he's a Farang, or Thai youths Happy Slapping innocent bystanders.

In UK, Asians get abused and assaulted just because they are Asian, and happy slapping occurs on a regular basis.

When Thai Youths start attacking Farangs for no other reason than they just happen to be Farang, what you gonna do, post a new topic on a forum, or think it's best to leave Thailand?

I can't see that happening in Thailand, but so many posters here seem to want the Thais to be more like Farangs, maybe they had better not get what they wish for.

I for one DO NOT want Thais to be like Farangs!!!!

Well said and great points made.

    Great post. :D

  11. Aye indeed your correct, but this is Thaivisa.com not Englandvisa.com

    That's all my question is.

So it's ok to make fun of and degrade the royal family of another country here?

    Thanks for clearing that up.

Comparing it to using the Thai flag isn't appropriate. For us (except for you) farangs, it is just good fun.

Did you get pissed off at Austin Powers in the first movie when he was battling the fembots wearing only his England shorts? That was really funny.

We just don't get pissed off at stuff like that so don't be so anal about it.

Thai's on the other hand do take it seriously and therefore we should respect that, especially here in their country. I found some boxer shorts on Silom road recently showing the Maple Leaf Cdn flag. It was hilarious, I bought 2 pairs. Good fun.

My wife questioned me, saying how can you wear underware with the Cdn flag on it. I said, it's just funny and we don't worry about stuff like that.

Now lighten the "f" up. :o

..........and have a great day too :D

So i am being anal for respecting the royal family of the country of my birth?

I'm not Thai so you dont need to respect my feelings towards the monarchy?

You have a great day too.

  13. P.S. I think the biggest victims of this kind of scam are the small number of genuine tourists and travellers who actually do have bad luck and need help through little fault of their own.

    "Steven"

I would doubt that many people who gave money to this "scammer" would ever find out they've been scammed.

That's not what he said Mr Comprehension :D , He meant that people who realy do need help are vied as possible scammers because of people like this ######.

Read what I said again and again, and maybe you'll understand.

If people don't know they have been scammed, they will not be on the lookout for these scams and just as likely to lend assistance to genuine needy.

Please, get a brain before you post again.

WE ALL KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED :D Though maybe you still don't realise it's a scam :o

  14. A member of this forum named 'fourbaht' is using an avator that i find extremely ofensive, I am English and proud of the queen of my country, i think it is unaceptable that this avator should be allowed on a website that is dedicated to a country that treats Royalty with such high respect.
