  1. Clonex (you can get on lazada) rockwool cubes and a humidity dome. Put a led light on them. super easy, I’ve cloned thousands of times But that’s a cool cloning machine you made
  2. Ya and how many people have gone to the hospital from eating just normal som tum and Thai street food? I know 2 of my friends have before while visiting, ended up needed IV’s from severe diarrhea and stomach problems from eating street food. Look I worked in the medical marijuana industry in California for 13 years. There’s always people who eat to many pot brownies that one time and freak out and think they need to go to the hospital. True story this just happened 4 days ago. My girlfriend ate 7 special brownies that I had made. 1 is enough, 2 and it’s like whoa, she ate 7. Her only weed experience was eating Tom yum chicken ganja soup which is NO WAY can get you high. but the moral to the story is she ingested way way too much, she was wobbling around on rubber legs, thought she was dreaming a few times then slept for 14 hours
  3. The local village loanshark in my girlfriends village in Buriram just finished building a brand new 2 story house. I was up there last week playing snooker at his house in the lower level snooker room. just about everyone in her village has or is currently borrowing money. My gfs cousin borrowed 10,000 to, yes buy a iPhone and hasn’t paid any back in 6 months. She now owes him like 35-40k and she makes 9k a month working
  4. I have not seen any clear path on how to go about this. As far as I’ve gotten is you need to register with the health department to get the permit to sell/product commercially which needs to be done by a Thai person in their name. As far as the cost and any other regulations or permits I have not found any info on it and also how and where to register with the health department.
  5. No. Im the director of the company. My lawyer never said anything to me about renewing it and and I just saw it expired last week. But my visa is good until September
  6. Im on a 1 year non b visa and my work permit expired, my lawyer didn’t renew it. Now she says if it expires my visa is also expired on the day the work permit did. And now I’m on an overstay. I’ve never heard this before.
  7. I have restaurant here and almost all the packages i get delivered there are signed for by my staff because they delivery in the morning and I'm usually not there. So it would be completely normal for someone to sign for a package for their boss. But the story has so many details missing. I've seen this story for months popping up on news sites and facebook groups. But nowhere do they ever give the whole story; So was the package addressed to her or in her boyfriends name? Did her boyfriend also get arrested or she the only one to take the fall? Did her and her boyfriend live in a 10,000 baht a month home and drive scooters everywhere? Or were they living large in a pool villa with cars and a Ducati collection? The reason for this, if they were just living a simple life, and she wasn't with him for years, it could be very plausible she didn't know what he was up to, but if it was the latter and they were living it up it would be hard to believe she had no idea. But if if she had just signed for a package in his name, I know this is Thailand but with lawyers and a trial I hardly doubt she would be convicted just on signing for the package. They must have some proof, messages, surveillance ect showing she knew what was coming in the box, even if it was to her boyfriend.
  8. I'm planning on going back home for a month to the USA with my girlfriend and son. My girlfriend needs a visa, I talked to someone in the US about the process, she told me that my girlfriend needs to come on a tourist visa, and say she is going alone because if she says she's coming with me and our son it will almost surly be denied. Also she gave me a list of things she needs to present at the interview to help with getting the visa. But her problem is she doesn't really have any of those things. She doesn't own any land or home She has no vehicles in her name She has a job at a restaurant but is paid in cash monthly so has no proof of income statements Anybody have any experience with this? any agents that could help? She really needs to be able to come, our son will only be 1 so if she can't get her visa, no way i could take him with me.
  9. I was wondering what is the general going price for just a piece of land in the Issan region? I know it varies but would just like to get an idea. There is a plot of land near my wife’s family’s home in Buriram I was looking at, however it’s only .3 Raí and the guy wants 400,000. And in typical Thai business practices he told her family if nobody buys it this year he will up the price to 500,000 baht ???? Anyway my point is that seems wildly expensive, it’s more expensive than land back in my home in California. It’s the equivalent of $110,000 per acre which is crazy for land outside the city.
  10. Guess they wanna turn Pattaya into Sihaunkville 2 and just have loads of Chinese come through, gonna be horrible. Thai's are so ridiculously superstitious they will literally bet the farm after a monk blesses them with good luck for the day. Or they will dream of some number and go put it all on that number at the roulette wheel. True story, at my girlfriends village, right at the corner of the main road through the village there is a bunch of banana trees. A snail i believe left some poo trail that resembled a 1 and a sloppy S. so i took a paper clip and made the S look more like a 5 so there was 15 written on this Banana Tree trunk. So the day before the lottery we went around to all the lottery sellers and none had any number 15's as the last 2 digits. My girlfriend was asking them about it and No joke one of the sellers said some lady bought all the number 15's from her and another seller because she saw the number on a Banana Tree! End to the story, 15 didn't win
  11. yes i don't understand where they get the information or prejudice against Farangs as to why they think we all are risks and have Covid. This year I've gone back to my Girlfriends village in Buriram 4 times. Ive been vaccinated since February. Every time I go the village headman says I have to quarantine, then I have to have my girlfriend argue with him telling him i'm vaccinated, I didn't come from a red area, ect and I don't have to quarantine. And at least a few people in the village also ask me or ask my girlfriend if i quarantined, test for covid blah blah. Last time i drove with her 2 uncles that live in Bangkok and nobody said anything to them when we arrived, the village health officer didn't check their temperatures, ask to see covid test or vaccination, only wanted to check me. Then i was sitting at a stop light on my motorcycle, and a guy in a BMW SUV next to me rolled down his window and started grilling me on how long i've been in Thailand, where i came from, did i quarantine, where i stay. <deleted> CRAZY!
  12. 15 years ago maybe. In my hometown in Northern California pounds are going for $400 now for very good quality
  13. Wait wait wait, just 2 days ago the magical TAT crystal ball said exactly 15,230 foreign passengers would arrive between the 1st-5th. So 10,720 are coming today and tomorrow? Don’t think so
  14. Just recently (1 month ago or so) they said they expected 19 million tourists in 2022. So of only 1 million are coming through March. They expect the other 18 million to come in the 9 months after. Every thing and prediction they come up with is laughable. also they always just think of the tourists in terms of how much money they are going to spend. Just collect the money from them at the airport as they go through immigration then turn them around and give them the boot out of the country. A whole lot easier.
  15. Number 5. What if you have a house here or say family is coming to visit and stay at your house. Do you still need to book a hotel to stay in so they can know where you are? And if so how many days? once again not very clear or detailed plan.
  16. Sounds right. My girlfriend is from a village just outside Buriram City. Her family and people in the village are scared to venture into the city because “many COVID in Muang” She said how many COVID cases being reported there is way less than actual cases
  17. You can have 200 people gather for a funeral or Buddhist holiday at the temple. But 4 people sitting drinking beer at the beach will get you arrested and fined. Ya makes tons of sense ????
  18. I 100% guarantee my tour company that had been closed for 8 months and my restaurant that’s barely scraping by will see any of this money to help rebuild and reopen. Same for the dive school next door. And the restaurant across the street. What they mean to say is the Ministers and provincial Governors will get bags full of money so they can go travel around staying in 5 star resorts and having champagne and oyster brunches while saying how great then return of tourists will be and 10 quadrillion baht will be spent by them
  19. They better be careful. Everyone knows COVID comes out to party when the music starts ????
  20. What don’t they understand that there needs to be no quarantine requirements for vaccinated people if they want tourists to come back. If they don’t want tourists just <deleted> say it. Going all this talk about tourists coming blah blah then making/keeping restrictions in place so they won’t come.
  21. Heres how to lower road accidents and deaths 1 - all drivers car and motorcycle should have proper driver training and licensed. We all know this is not enforced at all and majority of Thais have no driving license 2 - actual traffic police that patrol and issue fines for speeding, illegal maneuvers, no seat belts, no license ect. This would require a overhaul of the police system, getting police that care, get paid a decent wage and don’t make all their money from extortion and bribes. There only traffic control now is setting up a road block in front of an ATM and fining everyone that comes through for their whisky money 3 - make stiff penalties for Drinking and Driving, 50,000 baht fine, loss of license (first need to enforce point 1)
  22. So nobody else in the police force or up the chain of command ever questioned how he had millions of dollars $ worth of cars at a police salary. His car collection is something you only see from the superrich. Like people making multi million dollars a year. Must of gotten some solid Christmas “bonuses” or something
  23. I was wondering what the actual cost is that you pay to immigration for a 1 year non-b visa extension for working. I was on a 1 year multiple entry before where I had to leave Thailand every 90 days to renew it. But the past 3 years I switched to the 1 year extension where you report every 90 days online or at the immigration office. The first year my lawyer charged me 55,000 because it’s hard to change now, new rules, not same as before blah blah. So I switched lawyers. Last year was 33,000, this year they say it’s 36,000
  24. Wondering if anything ever came of the investigation. I feel like stuff like this is blown up in the news for a couple days then never to be heard of again. I know they arrested 1 foreigner at the airport trying to leave Thailand. But I’m sure there is more to it. I mean it was all digital bank transfers, so they surly have the records of where and accounts that the money was transferred to out of the Thai banks.
  25. This is getting crazy. Group of 5-6 people sitting on a secluded beach is breaking Covid rules? What about the picture of the 6 special task force members all sitting packed into the back of the police truck going to bust this group? What about the group of 5-10 Thais that live near me here in Koh phangan that bbq, drink Hong tong and sit on a group ever night, yes ever single night. How are they not breaking the Covid rules if these farangs are? Is it because they are local Thais?
