I would recommend, recover and transfer all relevant data (addresses and mails) to i.e. gmail.

Thank you for your detailed reply.
To be honest this is way beyond my capabilities. Only since a few months I am into the various modes of my camera. To familiarise myself I am looking at a lot of video's and do some exercises. The settings of the camera I do understand, but the area of 'photo shopping' (forgive me the word) still needs to be explored in more detail.
Looking forward to next contributions.

Abandoned construction site (probably for a housing project), sized a few rai, at Soi Toonglom Talman (Nong Krabong Community) near Pattaya. Before the site was abandoned a concrete fence around the of the site was erected, including an impressive main entrance (partly only). Further some unclear concrete constructions (and parts of a road) were constructed. The area is now overgrown with grass and bushes and is clearly decaying.

You would be surprised at how much of a problem the 2016 amendment to the Hotel Act is going to cause.
Effectively the amendment affects all short term rentals.
Condominiums are also illegal to rent for less than 30 days.
I have just started a FB page as I have had people I know getting raided in South Pattaya a couple of days ago. Thailand Hotel Act Information and My Illegal Hotel.
You can see the 2016 Hotel Act amendment covers ALL buildings. My friends checked with Banglamung District Office and they confirmed.
I am also wondering what the impact of these checks will be on the revenue of all properties sold with a rental guarantee of x percent in the next y years. In my idea they cannot all be filled with tenants staying 30 days or more.

My village Paradise Villas 1 seems to have heaps for sale - it only takes about 5 mins to get to Sukamvit ( Soi 87/ 89 ) - it’s very quiet, security is good. Houses are spread out - and have decent gardens / pool
Minibuses collect kids for Regents etc from other houses.
It’s much quieter here - than towards Siam Country club - avoid going up Kao Talo - is always busy.
Have a look?
It depends on your budget of course , most houses here are large .
I don't want to get into the buy / rent endless debate - but would suggest that unless you are planning at least ten years into the future - don’t buy.
You can get stuck with a property that unless you reduce the price to something very reasonable- they don’t sell.
I am also amazed that there are so many house for sale on this estate. It is a beautiful area. I also would recommend the OP to heave look here.
