The state is not funding THAI further since it is no longer the major shareholder.

Yeah, just like it has no say in what happens either, one way or another the state is very much behind the airline.

Continued funding by the state was one of the three that alternatives Prayut stated were options for THAI.  Restructuring, which did not require more state funds, was the route that was chosen so that the state did not have to continue support.

Yes, just what I was thinking. Isn't the purpose of an autopsy to determine why the heart stopped working.

The purpose of an autopsy is to determine the cause of death, to rule out foul play, not necessarily to determine the cause of the cause of death despite Thaivisa 'pathologists' insisting that they need to know more specifics.

It is cruelty to the animals irrespective of breed to be cooped up in a condo all day. Being kept In crates and no exercise should be a criminal offence. Does the owner go out work? Both the condo owner and the woman with the dogs appear to be extremely misguided.

    They're not kept in crates!

    No criticism Moonlover.

It just looks a big fire. Maybe carrying something that burns fiercely.

"Maybe carrying something that burns fiercely".

Yes, paint, rubber, vinyl, carpet, upholstery, oil, fuel, plastic to name a few.  The sort of things that most vehicles "carry".

the Photo actually shows Wet Vaccum cleaners and not what I would call a High Pressure Washer.

The photo actually shows two items, the one that isn't a wet vacuum cleaner is actually a high-pressure washer.

The OP actually stated that high-pressure washers were to be included in the list of controlled items, it didn't say that they were the only items or that wet vacuums weren't going on the list.

    Only in Thailand!!!

I actually saw them installing this many years ago next to Tesco Lotus on Threppasit Rd Pattaya, its a Police Box,and YES... the cables protrude out the other side of the box 555!

I always wonder if a fully qualified Professional Architect signed his name to this, and if so,it could be aligned with the mentality of Thai politicians.

    T.I.T.

No big deal, apart from aesthetics, they're internet/TV cables.  The power lines are much higher up.

But there's no problem selling the <deleted>, right?

That's right, at the moment, that's what the article is about!

The minister is trying to change things for the better by issuing permits and keeping substandard items out of the country.  When the regulations are in place selling substandard items will be a problem.

I am almost sure I read this a few years ago

didn't he kill an innocent bobby on his way home to his family

and then he was so out of his tree he dragged this family man hundreds of meters under his super car in such a brutal way that they needed a shovel to collect all the bits

is that the same drugged up ahol

It's probably the same one although you messed up your description a bit with your gratuitous embellishment and exaggeration.

"Since when was working a crime" [sic]

It has been a crime ever since working illegally was criminalised in every country, regardless of the countries' associations.

Yes, but few countries punish the crime with a prison sentence. Civil countries punish employers who get benefit from illegal low cost workers, not the modern slaves who only tries to make a living

My point was that what they were doing is illegal, that's all; the poster I responded to was suggesting that what they were doing was just working, i.e. that it was legal.   I was not commenting on the penalties imposed by Malaysia.

"Staggered by the level of unprofessionalism..."

Wow, some people are easily staggered.

It's such a bore having high standards; I envy you for being able to put up with a lack of professionalism in banking, and perhaps in most aspects of your life.

You don't appreciate the bank's security system in looking after 'your' funds, then?

By the way, I haven't had to "put up with any lack of professionalism" in my dealings with Krungsri or any of my other banks in Thailand.  Of course, I wouldn't expect to be able to unilaterally clear the funds out of a bank account that jointly belonged to another party, if I wanted to that.
