  1. amazon.de??? Probably would not command any import duty as too small value an item
  2. Had Dengue once and severe enough to scare the sh,,,, out of me. Once the fever broke from a solid high of 40 over several days I got excruciating arthritis first on my ankles so bad I could not get up unaided. It seemed to last several weeks. Once I started to get better I had the same experience in my hands. Doctor never tested which of the strands I had only confirmed via blood test that I indeed had dengue. Took me best part of 6 months to be right again.
  3. Nothing could be further from the truth. I bought some Bitcoin early 2018 after some for then big falls averaging in for about 10500 and at best I am up 40%. Pretty terrible compared to my rented out property investment. Even in gold I would have done better. Not to speak of the risk involved. Bitcoins suck big-time.
  4. I agree with the previous posters. To take antibiotics for a bad coughs is at best reckless and worse dangerous. Go to any medical info site and look up the possible reasons for coughs if you cant be bothered to go to a medical clinic to have it checked out. Just taking antibiotics is completely without investigating properly is totally nuts. Or are you trying to save a few baht and risking your health in the process???
  5. at 85 you probably would not wanna know
  6. She would not know what a beer bar looks like. The only time she would be found anywhere near an entertainment venue is when her amateur group performs their thai dance performance on special occasions or on rare occasions picks me up from a drink out. But I agree her social standing is definitely a benefit I had not appreciated before not to speak of the educational background that is superior to my own. Not that it matters no more having both retired but the hidden bonus is that we could travel easily as income exceeds mine so her tourist visa is never an issue. If there is any downside then its her desire to be socially over active I almost call it, still running a business administratively, her thai dance group, helping the local GP manage his clinic and sitting on the board of a couple of companies as none exec. But if it keeps her happy so am I
  7. I am dating an older Thai lady and she is certainly not short of funds that's for sure. She has retired from a good government job, additionally still operates her own business and and owns quite a few houses. We never talk about money but so far I have avoided to moving into her villa although she would want me to. Mind, soon I may run out of excuses I reckon.
  8. I fear the only alternative I am aware of is for your GF to apply for a work visa in one of the many "labour shortage areas". But, and the devil is in the detail she would have to even if sponsored by an employer pass an English language test at an appropriate level. I am told these tests can get quite tricky but that is hearsay.
