What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2022)

Season 3 of Derry Girls has premiered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddA0Vh5v0LM Quite the cameo in the season opening episode. -
Ah, OK. So water splashing is not allowed in any "public space". That seems quite clear. Thanks. But why does the PM refer to water splashing being allowed only in designated areas? Maybe no areas have been so designated? Maybe this requires a CCSA meeting, decree and gazetting?

I see the PM and various regime officials speaking about water splashing which "...may be permitted in designated areas". Has anyone seen a list of these "areas"?

Wise puts a smile on my face.

What method did you use before? This is an international 'transfer'? Most true international remittances need to be manually cleared. I guess WISE uses different methods, which results in a "domestic" interbank transfer, which can be cleared automatically like any domestic transfer. -
TV news streaming websites not playing on Android box
mtls2005 replied to Jingthing's topic in Audio Visual AV
Ooops. Sorry this won't work as the VPN-enabled device is on a different 'virtual' network. You'll have to run the VPN on TV, Android box, PC, phone or tablet. And then watch on the TV (running the VPN and a browser), or via the Android box (or Firestick or Chromecast with Google TV, running the VPN, or directly on the tablet or phone also running the VPN. Complicated no doubt, may be why run the VPN on their router. -

What do you want to watch? Live, in real-time right? You want it free too, right? Most of this stuff is licensed to you'll need to use a VPN if choosing a "real" source. Unlicensed re-streamers can probably be found. USTVGo+VPN works fine, can run it and cast it many different ways, depends what kit you have. -
For those two cards the exchange rate is determined by Visa. Both refund ATM fees. So it doesn't really matter which banks or ATMs you use here. I use AEON ATMs with my Fidelity ATM Debit card. The 150 THB is usually credited with 24 hours. Now if you have other requirements: larger sums, immigration let us know. Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) if offered as a screen prompt. .

Even though there was a regime change at Warner Bros. The Batman, which garnered good reviews (85%/87%) if a bit long, will stream locally on HBO Go beginning April 18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6ttqUweInc -

On TG? To which destination? AFAIK TG is not retrofitting any existing aircraft with F seats/service. So it's LHR, or wherever HS-TTC (due here by the end of this month) flies... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A3HwAgTQ5s -

The photos and videos on social media highlight this issue, compounded pre-Songkhran by a high level of departures. IMO, they'd be better off requiring a pre-departure test, and doing away with any arrival tests, or SHA+ requirements. Deplane, clear arriving Immigration, fetch checked bags, clear Customs, get in a taxi (or other ground transpo) and go. The current system just wasn't built for ten + thousand daily arrivals. And you can't throw more people at it, there's no room. So restrict the input (Thai Pass), or streamline the arrival.

There are obviously quite a few advantages to buying something. If there weren't no one would buy anything. And are you really "curious"? I think not. If I thought you were sincere in your "curiosity" then I would list the advantages. And why are you reading this thread, let alone commenting on it, if you have no experience or interest in paid streaming services?
-
There are various lists out there, and here of course, which list the documents. A search would yield additional details. For the purchase funds I've seen: Credit Advice Receipt(s) Certified bank letter, which summarizes the Qualifying Foreign Transfer(s). Some I've seen have a separate tick box for Condo Purchase https://www.bangkokbank.com/-/media/files/personal/other-services/transfers/buyingcondo.pdf?la=en&hash=688DBBF0954BF058C263618189F3969BB3530BC2 The last post on this thread indicates that WISE transfers "worked". YMMV.

You know what they say about "assume"? You have a Netflix log-in. Where the account was opened is irrelevant. If you're in thailand, and not using a VPN and selecting an IP in the U.K. for example, then you're seeing Netflix/THL. My sense is that the authorities have kept a light hand re: censorship on streaming services because of parental control options offered (yes, we all know teenagers can hack these), that these are the future and many Netflix, Hulu, Paramount +, Apple TV movies and shows are and will be shot here. And post-production here employs hundreds if not thousands. And, as opposed to broadcasts which can be censored on the fly, or pre-blurred, streaming options are harder tp censor. And Netflix probably has anti-censorship clauses written into country contracts. Obviously one gaffe, which sets off ultra-nationalists, could bring this all crashing down. Unlike Pornhub though, this might result in a storming of the castle.

90 day online reporting problem
mtls2005 replied to Koratdave's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
So a subsequent filing was approved? Include any building name, and use "Room NNN" for any condo/apartment designation. If in Bangkok, some Khet and Khwang have unusual naming schemes, example Watthana is listed as Vadhana. Maybe speak with the juristic office to see what address they use with Immigration? -
Appointment at Chaeng Wattana
mtls2005 replied to BrianBkyn's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you want an appointment, yes. You can make the appointment up to 60 - 75 days before your current permission to stay expires. The current system has a 30 day window, and you can renew an extension 30-45 days before your current extension expires. So it's 30 + 45 (in those offices which allow for the 45 day advance window. The current appointment system offers six slots daily for marriage/retirement extensions, at CW anyway. assume that's universal for all offices? That said, there are slots open for Monday 18 April at CW. But not Tuesday 19 April. -

Yes. What is your location/reporting office? Anything unusual about your address?
