"Ignored" by whom? Yeah, never clear to me who his "audience" is with his "missives"? He has the ear of the regime, so assume he's targeting others, maybe shareholders, with his "message"? Or maybe it just makes him feel like he's "contributing" to the "discussion"? I think MINT has more holdings outside of thailand than inside, bit I don't follow the company closely.

Wouldn't the minister of transport, chidchob lead this effort? I'm struggling to understand why the minister of health, with all the challenges that post faces, is noodling around with trains?

Probably tuned to crowd size, and without crowds well, less AC. Can't even imagine the cost to cool that space. You mean the cabin temperature? Ask the FAs to adjust it.

This one. Slowly inching towards the holy grail: Insurance which covers force detention with a positive result, and no symptoms, and therefore no medical treatments necessary. The regime needs to fully indemnify tourists, via paid-for insurance if necessary. Not sure why this concept is so challenging for thai authorities to comprehend?

No one is questioning your right to share your experience and "opinion". Yes, it is interesting that Ms. Delevingne did not complain, and even was thoughtful enough to say.. 'Also a huge thank you to the doctors and nurses at BANGKOK hospital who were kind and brave, doing what they do. whereas your post seemed to be more about how valliant you were in the face of adversity, while dissing Ms. Delevingne for "complaining", which she didn't do.

Can't download Bangkok Bank's new mobile software
mtls2005 replied to placeholder's topic in IT and Computers
What are you doing, please be very precise, when this message is displayed? Are you in the PlayStore? You can view the app? On your phone? Logged in to the web Play Store? What does it say? Available for all your devices? Installed? Your phone is running 10 or 11 so that's not the issue. You can push the app from the web to your device. -
Can't download Bangkok Bank's new mobile software
mtls2005 replied to placeholder's topic in IT and Computers
I like the Bualang mBanking app. Current Android version is 3.13.0, last updated December 15, 2021. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bbl.mobilebanking Normally apps update automatically, but maybe best to periodically manually select to update all apps. Given the lack of details provided in the OP helping is challenging. I'd probably... force stop the app uninstall the app restart the phone reinstall the app restart the phone reestablish credentials This app will not run on modded (rooted) phones, but I don't think that's the OPs issue. -
Thai court extends bail for protest leader Rung Panusaya

I do wonder if those convicted for their crimes during the 2014 overthrow of the government are subject to similar bail conditions. That they were granted bail within 48 hours. Residents and visitors welcome Bangkok’s Benjakitti Park
mtls2005 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Like I said, I don't know what the goals and objectives were. Yes, of course, not sure this was even under discussion. The existing park was/is OK, except for the run-down nature you've highlighted. I assume - hmm, this assuming thing is awesome - they've run through their budget - skim, skim - and are waiting a new release of funds. Promenade two by two. OK, now you're going all Science-guy on us. How many trees did they remove - a lot - to make this "green" lung? And why does green lung sound so much worse than black lung? Look, it's OK, but let's not get all effusive here. To me it's a cheap knock-off of the Cloud Forest/Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, and in a year or two it will will be dilapidated. At least the black mold will have many, many more surfaces on which to grow. The "Yet to be Developed" portions, significant in size, may do much ro redeem my current take on this "park". -
Current insurance will not pay for for housing, food, etc. Only medically necessary treatment. The regime finally understands this issue and is rumored to be addressing it. https://thethaiger.com/news/national/thailand-news-today-quarantine-insurance-for-tourist-to-thailand The regime must indemnify tourists for forced detention costs. Bill-fold Biopsy. Or tip foreigner upside down, shake. Seen many, many, many, many reports - all involve charges in the 100,000 baht range. Yes, I'm sure she'd be impressed with your "effort". <cough> I didn't read her post(s) as complaints, but rather challenges. Interesting how many here like to project their inadequacies onto others.

Awesome story, so-so film adaptation. This 1992 Levi's commercial - with the awesome Dinah Washington's Mad ABout the Boy backing - is a tribute to the story/film. It's title "Swimmer". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QthmSn3SaH4 Lancaster films that stuck: Field of Dreams, The Train, The Professionals, Birdman of Alcatraz, Elmer Gantry.

Residents and visitors welcome Bangkok’s Benjakitti Park

"Oh look honey it's a swamp." Thank goodness they expanded the nearby monkey-cheeks, otherwise the wetlands might become just "wet" during rainy season. And did we mention it's been built on unremediated land with 50+ years of tobacco manufacturing chemicals added in. If ever there could be a Swamp Thing it might have its origin story in this park. Maybe one the young cadets goes missing? Although the nearby khlong, might be a more primordial ooze? The smell is staggering sometimes. And the monitor lizards plying its inky depths are strong critters. -

Huh? You're contending that there are no quirks left behind? How strange.
