OK, so the thai security state is definitely not monitoring their citizens.

Several factors make Thais vulnerable to Omicron variant infection
mtls2005 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The goal was to get 100 mm shots in 50 mm people by Dec. 31. 2021. No regard was made for the efficacy of the vaccines. Vaccine theatre. Yes, it was a MAJOR screw-up, but did we honestly expect anything better? Clean up in aisle thailand. -

Israeli Who Escaped Quarantine Will be Charged and Deported
mtls2005 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
What a colossal waste of time, which paints thailand in an extremely poor light. Just hold a press conference, have him apologize and then let him leave thailand. Can common-sense prevail here? I understand the need to "make an example" of someone but does that ever really work? Hopefully ALL tourists are provided with translated versions of these "Acts", along with a detailed list of punishments. -
Talk to the owner? Talk to building management? Trying to figure out what service might have been installed, now that everything is gone, is challenging.

Well, heck, it could be "anything"? And why not provide some info when a report is rejected? FWIW, I have provided the exact same address for ~ 15+ years on every single document: TM6, TM7 TM8 TM30 TM47. Office? Office? But also confused with your report of "got approval and receipt" with a later rejection? Maybe you mean that you filing was accepted for review?

Brit, 82, arrested in Nong Khai on child sex abuse charges
mtls2005 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Big Joke's Q rating is quite high here with foreign fan bois. Probably lower amongst thais? Last we heard he was working on "police reforms". He does seem to enjoy the attention. And it is interesting that he needed to go from Bangkok to Nong Khai to "lead the arrest"? This photo from the article is also interesting, looks like standard thai teacher issue? The whipping canes I mean. "When a home search found child pornographic devices such as whips, rattans" -
Motorcycle taxi riders given electric bikes in EGAT pilot scheme
mtls2005 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Frantically looking for Km long extension cords. I'm kinda negative on electric scooters here, I appreciate the environmental effort, but absolutely no warning - 7/11 delivery uses them in my neighborhood - when they come up behind you on the footpath. -
What is your question? You need a location to get a RT-PCR test for yourself? In Pattaya. https://www.bangkokpattayahospital.com/en/packages-and-promotions/consultation-packages-en/item/2968-screening-test-covid-19-rt-pcr-en.html

Israeli with Omicron who fled quarantine hotel flown back to Bangkok
mtls2005 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Why are you sleeping with a "girl" whom you know has Chlamydia? -
Yes, love the four minute video. And the comments: Does not work, I filled it in online, you took over 6 days pending so I was refused as overstay, good job I went into Immigrtation to get it, system is to slow to respond. · Reply · 3d On line is not working. I applied twice this week and application was rejected both times. Went to the office today and did it in a few minutes. Kinda says it all. How many thais have to file 90 day reports? Which office?

Sheesh, can we just move past the mob-justice and get to the press conference where he apologizes, acknowledges that what he did was wrong, and that he is sorry. -
Anyone here knows were to get "Novavax" vaccine at???
mtls2005 replied to doggie1955's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Novavax needs to apply for EUA in countries. The Serum Institution needs to manufacture it. Countries need to order/buy it? Novavax has been given emergency use authorization in Indonesia and the Philippines, https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/approves-novavax-vaccine-emergency-covid-81814566 https://ir.novavax.com/Complete-PREVENT-19-Phase-3-Clinical-Trial-Results-Manuscript-for-COVID-19-Vaccine-Posted-to-medRxiv https://ir.novavax.com/2021-06-14-Novavax-COVID-19-Vaccine-Demonstrates-90-Overall-Efficacy-and-100-Protection-Against-Moderate-and-Severe-Disease-in-PREVENT-19-Phase-3-Trial -

Big Joke is raising his profile, again. Ya think? -
But some report that CW takes seven (7) days for ONE rejection. Add in holidays, weekends you may end up with one shot only. What's the point? I guess if people start reporting 100% success rate with CW I'll risk it. Otherwise, post is fine for me. It's really simple. They return all the docs so I just pull up the previous PDF, change the month, print it and write in the day, sign it. Done.

Children Aged 5-11 to Receive Pfizer Vaccine
mtls2005 replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Thailand News
Oy vey. This is why we can't have good things. -
Cool. So the Imm staff reviewing the filing could offer this as a reason? They used to do this with the old system with the ADMIN remarks field. Many of us used the "OLD" systems, until we couldn't. Some of us file by post, yet any mistake, spelling error, address format seems to be handled easily. There is obviously some issue at CW with the new system, and it's not some rando address format issue. Third time's a charm I guess. So keep trying until when? Your due date?
