  1. ThailandRyan changed the title to Effective December 6th, anyone flying to the US will need the PCR test or such completed just a mere 24 hours prior to flying, and not 72 hours as before. Did not know we could change, or such, the titles of posts.

  3. 15 minute, 500 baht antigen test is acceptable for travel to and entry into the U.S And it's not same day, it's within one day, so the day before is OK. What day/time does your flight leave BKK? Does the airline require a PCR test specifically? What is your routing/airlines? Seen these folks recommended, neighbors and friends have used them successfully: https://www.medconsultasia.com/
  4. Well if she's on top it would be 3, maybe 4 is the killer?
  5. Every couple of months there's a local story of an elderly thai man marrying a teenager here. Recently some outrage is expressed, but ultimately true love wins out.
  6. Current TG advice ex-GB: https://www.thaiairways.com/en_GB/plan/travel_information/travel_requirements.page INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS THAI passengers can transfer at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport between international flights booked on the same ticket, when the transiting time does not exceed 24 hours. Passengers must not leave the transiting area and are not able to enter Thailand. Please note that all required documents, including those in digital format, must be printed to be presented at check-in and to the relevant immigration authorities: 1. COVID test by RT-PCR method with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, issued within 72 hours before departure OR A certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 for more than 14 days before the travel date, with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization or the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand 2. Travel health insurance policy (worldwide or including Thailand) covering health care and treatment expenses for COVID-19, for no less than 50,000 USD. Please print the insurance certificate and all pages of the terms and conditions on the COVID coverage and medical benefits (passengers may be refused boarding if they can not show that their insurance meets these requirements)
  7. I think he's his own "mate"? Answering for a friend. Still confused on the itinerary and carriers. I see Myanmar, Myanmar Airways, Singapore, Qatar and Doha all mentioned. Was it RGN-BKK-DOH-LHR? Or SIN-BKK-DOH-LHR? Or RGN-SIN-BKK-DOH-LHR? If one of the first two, and in theory with an interline agreement, separate PNRs could be linked, onward BPs issued and baggage checked through, allowing for an int'l-int'l connection at BKK. Which is what I infer happened.
  8. Of course some can appeal to the "Supreme" Court. Commoners get a pointing re-enactment and 50% discount for pleading guilty. thai justice "system".
  9. In fairness I think I saw a mention of (up to?) three days for approval after a successful submittal so that would take us through tomorrow, Thursday and into Friday, given the launch day and the holiday. Maybe they didn't get that far in their testing? cough
  10. I noticed this too with Bangkok Airways. They refer to a very complex provincial map, all in thai. https://www.moicovid.com/ข้อมูลสำคัญ-จังหวัด/ My guess is that they don't want to scare people from making bookings with pesky rules, which could change at any moment.
  11. They are not. Perhaps for hospitals within the same company they are. No. At least not at all hospitals. Yes, at some hospitals. Although the dosage (full/100 mcg, or half at 50 mcg) is still TBD. I'd just look or ask Princ Hospital for their terms? Is that somehow not possible? https://www.princsuvarnabhumi.com/moderna-faq/ Q: In the case that the vaccination recipient's information has already been imported but want to change the information Can it still be done? Answer: Yes, until the day before the vaccination appointment. It is divided into 2 cases as follows: In the event that you do not want to change rights But need to modify the date and time of vaccination: You can cancel the old vaccination appointment via the QueQ app and choose a new date and time that is still available immediately. If you can't find the information or want to change vaccination recipients or want to edit the vaccine recipient information: You can fill in the details via with evidence attached via website: https://booking.princhealth.com/psuv-moderna-request or submit a request to the hospital by bringing documents indicating the intention Download at https://booking.princhealth.com/request-change together with the evidence submitted to the officer On the date of appointment, date and time for vaccination as follows: ID card or driver's license or passport (original) of the vaccination recipient Copy of ID card or driver's license or passport with signature certifying true copy, crossed out with the stating that “used to import alternative vaccination information hospitals in the Principal Healthcare group only” with a phone number that can be contacted back Evidence of screen recording, reservation of rights, proof of booking or booking code We reserve the right to amend only those who wish to transfer the rights. Those who have already performed in the process of importing vaccination recipient information and scheduling appointments for vaccination alternatives to Moderna via QueQ have been completed only.
  12. I noticed my QR code had arrived within the Mor Prom app this morning. Not sure when it was approved/delivered exactly. I applied on Saturday (Dec. 4), I think. One can still apply for the yellow booklet. The QR code works when using a VPN/IP-issued outside of Thailand. The resulting web page looks quite official, all in English, no thai except for the MoPH logo. There is a progression when the web page loads...
  13. Within two days may be different than 48 hours. In some interpretations it could mean less than 71:59. So for SIngapore it could be Antigen test. For Thailand it must be a PCR test (I think). Other than TG are there any direct, non-stop flights LHR-BKK? ME carriers may allow transit without unique testing requirements? Good for highlighting the SIN transit requirements. I would have assumed an international transit would not be subject to transit country requirements. Net-net the OP should probably aim for a PCR test within 2 days of departure, to be safe.
  14. The other QR code-provided URLs via Mor Prom (COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate, Digital Health Pass) to co19cert.moph.go.th do work when using a VPN-IP issued in another country. I guess it's safe to assume this url cert-intervac.ddc.mopg.go.th will also work from outside of thailand.
  15. I do wonder if the QR code-provided URL will be accessible from outside of Thailand? Some government websites are NOT accessible from outside of Thailand.
  16. How does it, the new international source document, differ from the other QR code destination document (which displays all info - name, nationality, passport no.) in English, other than the site name where the vaccinations were administered? I'll be able to answer this in a day or two when my application is hopefully "approved".
  17. For domestic air travel, you may be required to prove vaccination (a single first dose may be acceptable), or produce a negative test result (within some period which may currently be 72 hours), or show documented recovery within 90 days.
  18. https://www.reddit.com/r/ThailandTourism/comments/r5dycp/testing_positive_for_covid19_on_arrivals_pcr_test/
  19. Other folks have received this new certificate, there are quite few other threads in this subject. They've said it shows up in the Mor Prom app, within the "International Certificate" box.
  20. I think the test is tied to the departure time not the arrival time... "The applicant is also required to have an RT-PCR test result that is issued within 72 hours before departure and bring the results to present ..." You can check the recent history of your upcoming flights. example: scroll down for the last 14 days https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SIA305
  21. It's "one day before" travel commences, and NOT one day before "arrival" in your first port of call in the U.S. Personally I think the headline is misleading, more for the reference to the test than the lead-time.
