  1. I did this recently. I archived all data. Then deleted it from the notebook. I copied a bunch of movies to the drive to capacity, deleted them, rinsed and repeated. Then ran DBAN on the entire drive (DOD option). Then re-installed Windows fresh (new legit license was $4.23), then sold the notebook.
  2. Just the fact that he must order "no corruption" speaks volumes. The rtp tagline is now and forever "paper or plastic", with "paper" being cash money, and plastic being well, a bag.
  3. I think this is available now via the Mor Phrom app, Digital e-vaccine cert is free , per the pm's promise of a new year's "gift". FWIW, I think these are now available via the Mor Phrom App. Update the app to the latest rev. 0.6.8 for Android Have a scan/jpg of your passport in/on your phone Open the app, press on International Certificate, then the Yellow Box "Request for a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate . Fill in the data, since they mention a "delivery" (of the digital certificate, via the app or email) window of + three days, I chose December 11 for the delivery date. Seemed to work for me, obviously no certificate yet, but it does show as Booking Successful in the Tracking Status menu.

  5. I'm amazed that anyone still thinks aluminum head-gear is still a good look. But then, maybe it's that chip in my head? What can we do?
  6. It will be interesting to see how, and when, the first case if Omicron is reported. I feel like it will be found in a foreigner, with the odds on favorite being Burmese or Laotian (long shot: Botswana). And may not be found until after 1 January.
  7. Not sure what you're on about but this thread is about flying to the U.S. where an antigen test has been acceptable for a long time.
  8. Maybe here??? https://www.aclu.org/report/pandemic-preparedness-need-public-health-not-law-enforcementnational-security-approach
  9. Ultra-nationalists will condemn the use of blue on, oh the horror, the feet. Sonthiya Sawasdee is already on his way to the police station to file a complaint. ???? So many odd costumes to choose from...Siamese Fighting Fish? But this one was evidently OK.

  11. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/Amended-Global-Testing-Order_12-02-2021-p.pdf See page 23 for definition of "Qualifying Test" https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get a COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight. COVID-19 Testing Requirement for International Travel to the United States CDC amended its October 25, 2021 Order, titled, “Requirement for Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test or Recovery from COVID-19 for All Air Passengers Arriving in the United States.” This amendment updates COVID-19 testing requirements for air passengers 2 years or older boarding a flight to the United States. All air passengers 2 years or older with a flight departing to the US from a foreign country at or after 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on December 6, 2021, are required show a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, before they board their flight.
  12. So for those who've successfully registered, can log-in, and have a 90-day report due in the next two weeks, have filed a report using the new web-site, has anyone received a Next Report Date? Scanning threads here and on FB, I've seen a few who successfully filed, but have not seen any reports of success. I successfully registered, and can log-in, and my next report date is TODAY, but I mailed my TM.47 in ~ 12 days ago so don't have a need to experiment with this new page. And are the "old" systems (web page and mobile app) still functioning, and providing successful reporting?
  13. Others here should note that there will be changes for the testing window requirements for those traveling to the U.S. as of Monday, December 7, 2021. The obvious take-away is to stay very up to date on the requirements for any upcoming international departure. New U.S. COVID-19 international travel testing rules take effect Monday WASHINGTON, Dec 2 (Reuters) - New rules requiring international air travelers arriving in the United States to obtain a negative COVID-19 test within one day of travel will take effect Monday at 12:01 a.m. ET (0501 GMT), according to an order issued late Thursday. Under current rules, vaccinated international air travelers can present a negative test result obtained within three days of their day of departure. Unvaccinated travelers currently must get a negative COVID-19 test within one day of departure. The CDC said beginning Monday "all air travelers, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, will be required to show a negative pre-departure COVID-19 viral test taken the day before they board their flight to the United States." https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/new-us-covid-19-international-travel-testing-rules-take-effect-monday-2021-12-02/
  14. Two days ago it was 252. https://aseannow.com/topic/1241529-252-arrivals-from-8-african-countries-asked-to-report-for-rt-pcr-tests-immediately/
  15. In addition to short-time and long-time categories maybe add a stipend for buffalo repair?
  16. I think the current app is toast, just hasn't popped up yet. Either they'll come up with a new mobile app, or simply direct folks with phones-only to the new web page?
  17. New online appointment booking system (re-) launched today. Not seeing Bangkok listed as of yet.
  18. This is looking good. Early Christmas present. Any changes in the reporting window with this new system/front-end? Same -15/0? I wonder if there will be a new mobile app?
  19. My read is that that web address is used AFTER you've successfully applied/registered. It shows as Step #3. AFAICT the Apply function has not yet been enabled? Of course no clue if this system will "work". Same same for me. Imm staff prompted us to file a 90-Day report, did so early September during extension. No on-line love for me, so back to mail-in.

  21. Seems outdated? No sign of a phone from my manufacturer since 2017. And not too many have an IMEI ahead of an unboxing? Kimovil seems more up to date? Scroll down for service providers, shows MVNOs which can be handy. https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/samsung-galaxy-a32-5g
  22. I initiated a SWIFT international wire transfer, on December 1, 2021 ~ 20:30 Thai time, from the U.S.A. to Bangkok Bank. The amount was $2,500, the intermediary bank was (is always) JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA. The funds arrived, actually the SMS did, ~ 10:30 this morning. Sometimes the SMS arrives as early as 08:30.
  23. Up until 1998 the RTP reported to the Minister of the Interior, after which time they report directly to the PM. One could argue they already are a ministry. Since the most recent coup they've become a political enforcement tool. Their recent assault on Amnesty International is but one of hundreds of shamefully brazen political acts of late.
