  1. thank you for your answer.

We heard that before COVID, we can do that in any Thai embassy in any countries, so we think it will be the same , can do that in any province.

It means he need to stay in Chiang Mai until he got the non b visa ??

How many days have to wait ? ( so much money in hotel ....... ) and is it only 2000 bahts? He is wondering if the immigration stuff request any extra money .......?

  2. hello everyone,

my friend got a job offer in Chiang Mai, currently he is living in Bangkok with tourist visa,

    I would like to ask

does he have to go to the Chiang Mai immigration office to do the non-b visa?

Can he do that in BKK first ? after he find a room then he do the work permit in Chiang Mai?

as he told me he doesn't want to spend any extra money in hotel

@ubonjoe As far as you know, can I apply for the 60 day extension in Phuket? I'm now in Phuket. Got extended to Nov 30 at MTT previously on visa exempt entry.

the same situation like you, i got extended one time to Nov 30 at MTT last month, the question is ..........

is it possible now i can apply the new 60 days with my tourist visa again?

just tell everyone actually you can take a bus from Victory Monument to MTT outlet (but you need to walk a bit after get off) : 22 bahts only

Yes I asked, multiple times. Like I said she told me to come back on the date stamped in October to get stamped for another 30 days. But it doesn't make much sense to have me come in on Oct 26 if I'm only valid to Oct 26. Surely there must be a mistake of some sort.

just wonder why they crossed out the Sept 26 ......... it make thing confused
in my case, they told me i have to go there again on 29Sep ( i went there on 16 Sep ) and they will give me the other stamp, sounds make sense

Ok I guess I'll just have to go back and see after 2 weeks has passed as that seems to be the length required for most under consideration stamps to be changed to a permitted to stay stamp. She said to return in October and I would get a 30 day extension from that date which is Oct 26 but I'm guessing that would be too good to be true and that something was probably lost in translation.

Did you ask them right after they gave you back your passport? You should ask them if you have any questions or dont understand what they say (sometime they speak Thai + eng.....)
