Your comparing over priced Pattaya with the rest of Thailand. They might get more as the car wash places are not cheap. If you can inform me where in Patts you can get a FULL valet (That includes the Engine) for 200bht would be obliged.

Anywhere for less than 200 thb, you really don't know what you are talking about, so I have no interest to continue discussing with you.

    Enjoy your full knowledge ❤️

I just came in from Hong Kong on Wednesday with my two dogs on Cathay as excess baggage. But I had to hand them over to a dog transportation company to be taken home (to Hua Hin) whilst I am in quarantine in BKK. I suggest you do the same. You're not even allowed out of the room for the first 5 days, so there's no way you'll be able to walk the dog. Send the dog home (if there's someone at home to take care of Rover for you) whilst you complete your quarantine.

What is the dog transportation company please ?

Agree with you they are more reliable than Thais+ they work harder. But have to disagree they don't get same monies, that's why most of the petrol stations have Burmese workers. I do know first hand as one of the Wife family used to work in a Fuel station in BKK and he got sacked because they could get Burmese workers for less monies.

I guess that my info is more first hand than you, Pattaya car wash,  salary for all staff is 14000 + tips.

People are dreaming that Khmer and Burmese will work for less.

I was told be a detailer that he only uses water. He said the "soap" causes those streaks in the paint that kind of look like fine scratches.

I have always wondered why Thais have car ports and not garages. Helps keep the vehicle clean. Years ago I was told Thais like people to see they own a vehicle.

you were told so many interesting things ????

  5. hello,

Car clay bars are difficult to use and now it seem that clay mitts or clay towels are a lot better and easier to use, but did you buy any in Thailand ?

Do you know if no brand clay mitts and clay towels are as good as the expensive ones ?

    I found this:

    https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?_keyori=ss&from=input&page=1&q=Clay%20Mitt&sort=priceasc

    https://shopee.co.th/search?keyword=clay%20mitt&order=asc&page=0&sortBy=price

Have you tried any ? Thanks for your replies.

To be honest, I haven't seen many rusty brake calipers here in Thailand. Maybe that's more of an issue in cooler, damper climes or those countries that use salt on winter roads?

If necessary, I think the powder coating method would be the best solution. There's a shop just north of the main Naklua traffic lights on Sukhumvit (Highway 3) outside Pattaya that did bike frames, wheel rims and the like. Not sure if this google map location is totally accurate or maybe hasn't been updated?

I think it's called Pattaya Powder Coating. https://th-th.facebook.com/PattayaPowderCoating

Which is also trading as Mixed Bikes. https://www.facebook.com/MIXEDBIKES/?rf=222829495298305

Thank you but I don't want to remove the parts to put them in oven.

As you said painting is more than enough, so why the trouble of powder coating ?
