No thank you ! As Thai are quite slow, I am not sure that they really understood how lucky they are to have some of us still here !
Once they will really know and beg for more, maybe tourists could come back !

If you are writing these stories to get my sympathy, it is not working. I have a some sympathy for anyone who left in 2019, but it ends there. If you left this year, could you not have foreseen how this thing might have gone ? Even if you could not have seen the exact contours, you should have seen the possibilities.
Thanks to you I didn't have to read any further
This is the only truth, no pity no mercy for the one who left.

And it's just the beginning ! When google and other dixx who control the world will stop deleting all negatives reviews, people will keep posting and the resort is dead as it deserves it.

Cheapest NON-O EXTENSION for Thai wife visa through agent ? How much did you pay ?
hello,
Agents prices to extend a non-o for thai wife with less documents and without meeting any immigration seems to be very different.
Can I know who is for you the cheapest agent and how to contact ?
PLEASE NO "do it yourself" REPLIES !!! I just dont talk to any immigration officer, they just don't deserve my saliva, so I want to pay and not meet them. I also don't want any visit from them to check where I live etc... All these things are totally unacceptable and I prefer to pay to avoid them.
SO PLEASE, which agent did you use and how much did you pay ? Bangkok or Pattaya if it matters.
Thank you.

A small resort with 200 rooms ? how deep can they lie ?
The resort is owned by Phisut Ratanawong, one of the most powerful men on the island, nicknamed Sia Toi in acknowledgement of his shady reputation.
Besides the resort, Phisut also owns Koh Chang International, which operates the ferry services between the island and the mainland.
He owns the largest shrimp farm on the island too, in the Salak Kok mangrove forest, and has been accused of illegally encroaching on protected land.
Phisut has frequently boasted of his links to the giant Charoen Pokphand conglomerate, and members of the Ratanawong clan have previously had jobs at CP Group.
Makes total sense now this charge was pushed through. Especially based on a. Thai language post wasn't published yet used w police and b. English speakers wouldn't make a connection to 'avoid this place like corona' and their alleged issue about confusion Inre, :covid

Whether this business is right or wrong, if their goal was profits, they've sabotaged themselves in the most profound way. What tourist is going to stay at a hotel with a reputation of imprisoning its guests? What did they think would happen? As I write this, dozens of negative reviews are amassing on both Trip Advisor and Google. Their online reputation is now, or will soon be obliterated. High emotion and business don't mix well.
not true, hundreds reviews posted last 24 hours have been deleted on trip and google...
the DH are protected...

Pineapple Restaurant & Sky Lounge - on top of Khao Talo in Siam Royal View village. https://goo.gl/maps/Zz94HSZLhHMZe9Fy9
We went for a function with ten people. The place is special, perched on top of Khao Talo, the 4th floor offers beautiful view of Pattaya brightside and perhaps even more interestingly, to further darkside, which is not a view you get often. It's obvious fom the second you set foot on the premises this is not a somtam place. The decor is set nicely and is very pleasing to the eye, everything seems to be maintained perfectly.
After some coctails on the observation floor and enjoying the brilliant view of the sunset, we then went to the first floor where the open kitchen is. The chef seems to be European, didn't ask but I'd guess Spanish. Service was impeccable and friendly.
To the food and drink. Ordered champagne to start (Mumm), the place has a good list of wines. An Italian red and couple of Chilean merlots for main drinks, the service opened and decanted all properly, they are well trained. Some starters like Spanish jamon, oysters florentine and scallops, excellent. Apparently the place had been visited by a Michelin star chef the week before, tells something about what they aim at.
For mains, 2kg of Black Angus Tomahawk steaks, aged whopping 190 days. Now that's a very long time and I was sceptical about it. When the pieces of meat came, nicely cut, it looked wonderful. The aging process had turned the meat almost to a jello like appearance. First bite and WOW. Not the meat itself, but the fat that had been charred on very high heat, blows your mind. By far the best steak I've had in Thailand and to give some relevant point of comparison, better than the aged steak I had in Brisbane at Walter's steakhouse, which was already excellent. The sides of house made fries and grilled corn also perfect.
Dessert, got a cake which was delicious. Everything was just brilliant. Five stars. Chef came by to say hi on our way out.
And the tab, prepare the ambulance for CCs: a bit over 30k. Well worth it and I will go again when they have special events. This, I think, is a destination restaurant. They do have a happy hour just for drinks if you simply want to check them out without murdering your wallet.
What the purpose of going to dirty darkside for a view ? When I want a view I go front beach...

First visit to HH today. Had "small" BF 2 bacon, 2 egg, 1 sausage, beans, tomato, fried potatoes, toast with butter and marmalade and cup of coffee all for 89 baht. Later I had liver and onions, mash, carrots & peas for 179 baht. Large Leo or Chang is 59 baht. I drink small bottles when in Pattaya: Chang was 39 baht. Is that the dogs boll**ks or what?
so ? what is special there that we cannot find anywhere else ?!

I just find their food so bland. But you are correct, its a lovely place. Is it still open?
Food has nothing special and I still wonder what makes people think that any food is special ?! I guess that most can't even explain it.
Just like messages I read here saying that Kiss restaurant is not good, but people cannot explain why. So funny.

Sets a horrible precedent and makes people fear leaving negative reviews. Saying an establishment is not clean could be construed as a covid related jab. Where do you draw the line?
Reviews like this are one of the few areas where common people have power over corporations. This power gets abused all the time, sure, but live by the sword and die by it.
Thais can do what they want, but this clearly is not the correct decision. Publicly going after a guest will never be a good idea.
Are you sure ? or it could just explain people that only brainless use their real name online and do not hide behind a vpn...
And when you want to kill a business, start doing it weeks after, not the next day...

how can any foreigner think that the customer was wrong ? even if arrogant or anything, any business that sue any customer should close definitively (at least).
whatever he did, the business is clearly managed by idiots, just read their reviews on all websites, you will understand.
Anyway this resort is now dead, just read the google reviews that are flooding...

If you read the article the reason would be crowded immigration offices, nothing else. The requirements will probably be exactly the same. So, if you don't meet the requirements to extend the stay now, what will change next month?
maybe embassies will be less idiot and will give us the requested letter ?

Thai immigration just can't get things right.
It's not the immigration fault that people extend at the last minute, it's the tourists' fault, they were given advance notice.
if they had made it easier like just pay a fee and get billions revenue for Thailand, people would have have done it earlier.
