  1. Dragging up hackneyed definitions about what a family is – based largely on white Christian values is just a cliché used by homophobes to try and justify their blinkered homophobic views. Then for good measure they try to imply a concern for the welfare of the children ...These are not real scientific reasons just a dogmatic outlook of based on a gut feeling based on nothing but prejudice
  2. I see you are taking baby-steps with Google - Now you need to learn the difference between "search" and "research" to form an opinion instead of "sealioning" - wiki is a great source of information - identifying a source as a good one would reinforce the argument. Keep up the good work!
  3. You show no understanding of this at all,,,,I think you also don't realise the limitations of your abilities to understand either.
  4. You ae indulging in a logical fallacy - and don't seem to understand how to raise citations for an argument.
  5. QED - a false premise. You aren't even addressing the topic. Perhaps for your own benefit you might try and find where someone has suggested this,
  6. You might want to re-think that - especially if you are considering pint only editions. here is some info about the Mail and the "Grauniad" Daily Mail - average age of its readers was 58, it has a majority female readership, with women making up 52–55% of its readers.[ It’s readership is around 2.180 million, of whom approximately 1.407 million were in the ABC1 demographic and .773 million in the C2DE demographic. The Guardian has three papers – UK, Australia and the USA (plus the Observer) News from The Guardian, including that reported online, reaches more than 23 million UK adults each month. Daily Mail has also been criticised for its unreliability, its printing of sensationalist and inaccurate scare stories of science and medical research, and for instances of plagiarism and copyright infringement. In February 2017, editors on the English Wikipedia banned the use of the Daily Mail as a source. The Guardian paper's print edition was found to be the most trusted in the UK in the period from October 2017 to September 2018. It was also reported to be the most-read of the UK's "quality news-brands", including digital editions; In an Ipsos MORI research poll in September 2018 designed to interrogate the public's trust of specific titles online, The Guardian scored highest for digital-content news, Historically, the Guardian opposed Slavery, whilst the Daily Mail supported Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
  7. Yes- this is true. What conclusion would you draw from that?
  8. As a life-long educator I find your comment un-informed to the point of being risible. You really don't even begin to grasp the fundamentals of childcare education or psychology. It would be poib=ntless trying to discuss this with someone who is so utterly out of touch.
  9. you seem to have a naive appreciation of what "a family" constitutes both currently as historically - you need to get in touch with tr real world.
  10. I don't think you really understand the topic. You seem to be confusing castration in domesticated animals - usually part of a sterilisation program with gender re-assignment which is just one facet of a general societal re-appreciation of gender labelling and gender roles. nobody's "got" to do anything. It should be noted that sexual orientation and transgender are not inter-related. It is incorrect to assume that someone who undertakes gender reassignment is lesbian or gay or that his or her sexual orientation will change after gender reassignment. However, historically the campaigns advocating equality for both transgendered and lesbian, gay and bisexual communities have often been associated with each other.
  11. Do you really think the gender sugary is that simple? I suppose it matched your knowledge of the topic.
  12. Westerners often mistake the open presence of "ladyboys" in Thailand as a liberal attitude to being "gay" or anyone who is considered "LGBTQ". This is not actually true - in fact outside the major urban areas such as Bangkok or Pattaya, being gay is try difficult. The problem being is that in Thailand. especially if you are a gay male, you are expected to dress up as a woman to be accepted. Lesbians are meant to be "tom and dee" but outside society's accepted conformities life can be very difficult. Of course men dressed as women gives Thai men the opportunity for "gay" relationships whilst still convincing themselves that they ae heterosexual. Thailand may still have some way to go before most people accept others for what they truly are.
  13. there are so many expats who habitually praise the lack of intervention of law in Thailand especially regards health and safety, whether its buildings public spaces or road safety, yet this is what happens in their idea of paradise.
  14. Planning, health and safety and of course no enforcement. Just nods of agreement between local businessmen and the local authorities. the sad thing is that this lawlessness comes as no surprise and has resulted in the death of over a dozen people.
  15. I also forget some posters are souls too
  16. Ah - sorry to tell you they are machines and not actually alive. I supposed now confronted with the reality, you are crushed?
  17. Well unfortunately you alone misunderstood me....I find it hard to believe you seriously think vehicles can "die" so
  18. I was referring to the Naval hospital......as it is run by the navy, it has the cream of the crop when it comes to available doctors etc. Orthopedics is not using a hammer I think you are falling fowl by not understanding how the Thai healthcare system works. when laypeople make judgements based on perceptions of medical diagnoses, they invariable get it wrong. You need to understand the system, not medication or therapies to get a result.
  19. - Sorry I'm talking about the death rate of people , not vehicles. or are you suggesting that people are less likely to die in a repaired vehicle??
  20. comments like this just give the impression that any instigation will be haphazard and unthorough. Nobody will learn anything and fire precautions will remain unchanged.
  21. Sakdina is alive and well and still permeates all aspects of Thai society.
  22. "knee specialist"? - What you might need is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in knee treatment. but you are narrowing down your choice - I assume it is an orthopaedic problem??
  23. you need a diagnosis from a doctor, not quackery. Pin especially things like joint pain leave you extremely vulnerable to every quack cure for pain relief rather than finding out what the problem is. You need to find out EXACTLY what is coursing the pain and ten a treatment can be decided upon. The problem is the Thai system. the Sattahip hospital is probably one of the better hospitals but it sounds like the doctor doesn't know what's wrong - then you start the going from specialist to specialist in order to get first a diagnosis and then treatment. you might want to consider a trip to your home country to get a proper diagnosis first.
