Most Bolt drivers are professional but there are always the few bad apples. We had a bad tempered guy in Jomtien who drove dangerously and was more interested in having an argument on his phone than driving. Almost hit pedestrians and cars whilst passing Rompo market. Became angry when I said be careful. My girlfriend reported him, 99% are great its just that tiny percentage of crazies that you need to worry about.

There is a youtube channel called Lei's real talk. Its a good source of information about China. She did a video on the scam centres. She said that they were funded by China, and had many functions. Money laundering, scamming, military and organ harvesting. They are supposed to provide a large portion of the Cambodian economy.

It's just part of a process to try and change Pattaya to a family centric area. They want wealthy people to visit. So raid all the bars, make visas difficult and freeze expat bank accounts. But the rich don't come to resorts like Pattaya and a world wide recession is incoming. Hard times coming for Thailand and Pattaya.

The road / sewer construction situation at Laguna 3 just became worse. Access from Soi 7 / second road is completely blocked. This will make ordering taxis and getting to Jomtien very difficult. When I told security they seemed surprised. It makes me wonder who is in charge and whether they communicate. Wait for the day when a tourist falls in one of the holes being dug or gets hit by debris or a digger.

They are so corrupt. A few weeks ago I watched two officers scamming parked motorbike owners on South pattaya Road. They put a lock on a bike, wait for an owner and accept cash to release. Farang and Thai.

That's a big pipe with open grates, once it is in use the smell will be awful ? Right under your condo. Time to move ? They are building new condos and a new gated community to the right of laguna 3 so the volume could be significant.

Yes OK. I only have knowledge of the laguna 3 section. It looks like a sh*t show though. And from a renters perspective neither my agent or the admin seem to give a damn.

The upstream and down stream work on the massive drainage pipe that is being laid is already complete. So it seems that it is the 200m section at laguna 3 that will be built ? I assume it will carry sewerage for new condos but I don't see any processing plant before the sea ? So they plan to dump all that waste at Jomtien beach ?

Six months ago the Maldives ( laguna 3 ) was quiet. Now its a construction zone, it looks like a bomb site. Noisy, dirty and hard to get to. Frequent power outages, bad WIFI and loads of heavy machinery. The agent that arranged this condo for me didn't mention the impending building work. This picture was taken weeks ago, now its much worse.

Or do they ever do any research before making these plans ? Could they not talk to their target audiences ? It always seems like pie in the sky.
