Had you made an appointment? I had my first Pfizer shot at BHP and have my second appointment at Central Festival on the 14th this month. I assume this will also be Pfizer.

Registered with BHP and Expatvac. No calls or emails. Went to Festival and was told no more Pfizer. No reason to get the other Astra and Sino shots as three needed for Delta immunity. And then when I go to the US, I will need an additional two Pfizer plus a booster for my Covid Card.

Time to open the bars so I can increase my exposure to those sexy Covid deviants.

  2. What happens.

You get an alert that you are going to get sick. You have about four hours to get things in order. Get plenty of water and maybe fruit.

After four hours you will get an unrelenting high fever for three days. You are going to sweat and have difficulty leaving the bed. High delusional fever.

On the fourth day you are dazed but feel better. Can eat.

Days five to ten the lung problems begin. Slow pneumonia that gradually worsens. On day ten it either breaks or you will go to the hospital. With delta this may last longer.

Next two months your lungs are inflamed. Can walk but cannot run or lift weights. Lungs ache. Also diarrhea and stomach problems for two months. You may need O2 or a hepa filter blowing over you when you sleep to stop the shortness of breath.

    After that, party with impunity.

Travel within and beyond the province
There are no formal restrictions in and out of Chonburi province, or within it, but people are requested not to leave their zone except in an emergency. However, other provinces may have different mobility rules which should be checked. There is currently no formal curfew in Chonburi, although police said they might politely question overnight car drivers as all public facilities are closed. Public and private sector staff are requested to work from home for the time being, wherever feasible. This is likely to mean that some public facilities and banks might introduce restricted hours for public attendance.

The latest understanding of the provincial order is that it is specific to organized scuba diving and snorkeling trips. The consensus is that personal beach/water sporting activities, e.g., swimming, kayaking, surfing, jetsking, and maybe even snorkeling/scuba are allowed. A couple of the beach surfing schools are also posting on FB that they are still open for business.

Great news! Time for some surf. Thanks.

  5. First they closed the old Thermae.

    Alas, Washington Square demolished.

Then they shuttered JP's International Bar.

And now they are gunning for Tahitian Queen.

The watering holes are shrinking. Let's keep this party rolling. Best boys club in Pattaya. No pretense no BS. These boys have been burning through cash all year with no end in sight.

I wonder how many on here lamenting its current predicament would actually frequent the place with their custom if it managed to continue. Got to love these nostalgia threads, " Oh the memories, great place, haven't been in it for years". ????

Pre-Covid it was a great afternooner. Slip into its dark womb and catch a buzz. Although the 1pm opening was a bit late. By the new Covid 4pm opening time my coconut is already fermented.
