Brain failure plus not lose face by giving way. Plus far to fast in channel. Must be some sort of speed limit set by marina.

It used to be 5 knots per hour 10 or so years ago....don't know what it is now....90% of them should never be allowed in the sea never mind in charge of a boat

Many of us living in Florida relocated here for the warm winters, fishing, and most of all no state income tax. The socialist Gillum wants more money for those who do not provide for themselves by way of imposing state income tax to support social programs. I escaped the liberal wasteland of Colorado and do not want to spend my retirement in a similar condition here.

Shift.....easy solution.....HAwaii is a great place for sun, surf and fishing and oh beer

I’ll take back more than half if that’s what I said but not much less than half. I’m not saying it’s good but I know it is extremely widespread in the states in an extremely large group of different professions. Just like I responded to the carpenter just now. His profession and others like electricians and plumbers are making incredible $$$$ under the table. In those professions it’s more than 50% and often even if you bribe them with more $$ for some emergency that comes up they are too busy or too rich to take on another job. It’s really widespread especially in Boston and New York City area where I have first hand experience just this past six months. I know 27 year old plumbers making 175K a year and reporting much much less. Others as well. Not bragging and not saying it’s a healthy way to go , but but but that money is going back into the economy as well.

This happening world wide....20 years ago no one wanted to work with their hands and were not encouraged to do so....everyone was going to be a computer engineer etc etc and that was what education systems were built around....no the penny has dropped and there are fewer and fewer tradesmen hence they are in such high demand and the market has to pay what they want.....20-30 years ago u got real car mechanics....now its replacement experts and the game goes on

When i first started coming to Thailand i bought these type of things knowing they where fake because of the low prices as did most of the people i knew that came here for a holiday golf or whatever took their fancy (bar girls) . Most of what i bought outlasted the genuine stuff so am always happy to buy more except for watches and phones .

I bought a knock off Bally wallet in Patpong Bangkok 15 years ago.....have used it everyday ever since….now some of the stiching is starting to fray....if I took it back would they give me a refund ????

  5. Siam Paragon did have an emergency power backup about 2 years ago when I was there one late Friday afternoon 2 years ago and it all worked fine....I cant imagine that they would have disposed of it...many people here have assumed it was Siam Paragon whereas there are many shopping malls in the area...The owners of Siam Paragon are very very good operators of malls so until the actual name of the mall is released it may be a good idea to keep your slagging to yourself

I cannot agree with the maths in this post.

It is a multi trillion dollar industry. That's a lot of dosh.

Why do u think the Thai Baht is so strong....its because of the hgh overseas reserves that Thailand holds....one of the highest in the world....don't think they got those reserves from black market activities....being Number 1 or 2 exporter in the world of rice , rubber , sugar, sugar tapioca  plus hell of a lot of other stuff....
