  1. Any 'talk' that includes Chalerm will go nowhere. Why bother?

Could say the same re Suthep and whats the point of talking with someone with an arrest warrant out on them, talking hurts no one. although i dont think the EC can be said to be neutral it should be the Dems coming to talk as they are the political opposition in the elections not the PRDC who dont wish tom have them . We shall have to wait and see.

Those invited include caretaker Deputy PM Phongthep Thepkanjana, caretaker PM's Office Minister Varathep Rattanakorn, caretaker Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung, Pheu Thai strategy committee member Bhokin Bhalakula and former EC member Sodsri Sattayatham.

Where does it say Suthep's name on this list?

You have a very unhealthy obsession with the man. I have lost count of the non-Suthep related threads that your first comment always mentions his name.

Even threads where it is non political context and you launch into your usual BORING anti-Suthep diatribe.

    You are becoming excessively BORING!

Go take a holiday or something and get your mental issues sorted out..... It;s not healthy.

'The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human.~ Aldous Huxley'..... Describes you beautifully.

He just may have the "Hots" for Khun Suthep

  2. show my your patents.

Surely whistles are in the public domain, since the copyright would have expired well before copyright even existed.

Mr Whistle (and Mr Crappa's) family would still be getting royalties today?

Under British law its called "Passing Off".....taking the opportunity to make money out of someone elses business/efforts....bit like the guy who had a logo somewhat similar to Starbucks.....Starbucks had a real strong case but I dont think Sutheps lot would get very far in a proper court of law

  3. This incident reminds me of another very similar one a few years ago, when an old ladies house was riddled by hundreds of bullets from a gang of machine-gun toting yahoos. She survived by hiding behind the refrigerator. The leader of the violent thugs is still an active politician. Interesting to know if history is repeating itself. Just goes to show that letting these criminals go unpunished isn't very wise.

The son of this elderly couple living in the house was living in Bangkok and had won the lottery so he built a new house for his parents....what a good son ....some of the locals were surprised at this show of wealth and told the police they were drug dealers...no less a person of the Thaksin regime the Interior Minister led the raid...it is purported over 150 shots were fired into the house ....the elderly couple survived by hiding behind the frig....the Interior Minister earnt himself a new nickname that night ....he became known as "The Fridge"

  4. Friend at the stadium says the Suthep anti-government thugs have guns - started firing at red shirts - someone fired back at them - all very confusing - nobody knows what happened but started by the anti-government thugs.

Hey Magenta....Where do u get your drugs from......I have to go to 2 childrens birthday parties tomorrow and I want to be as good a clown as you are this evening

  5. Mind you one way to ease the problem will be upon us soon , in the cool season the winds blows a little more and perhaps then the government members can relax and go and fly kites.wai2.gif

Now this being an English language forum I won't post the Thai expression slang or otherwise for kite flying but I am sure the greater majority of the governments puppets are used to having strings and things pulled.rolleyes.gif

Now can anyone hear recall the slang expression concerning kite flying?whistling.gif

Mmmmm Chuck Wow comes to mind when flying a kite etc etc

  6. apparently 400 people died because they locked the door to prevent looting.

Where does this gem of information come from ???????????

    Some reputable links please

If there were that many people missing, in fact if there was only one their relatives would be there kicking and screaming to locate the body(ies)

Drove past there this morning and there was nil sign of any protests

  7. I am not a beach person, so maybe that is why, I would not have known what a red flag means.

This is a first I heared of it. The very few times I do go to the beach (Pattaya) I have never seen red flags.

But then if there where big waves, I would not go into the water.

Time to get the map out. Pattaya is on the gulf of Thailand. Phuket is in the Andaman sea. Quite a difference.

The reasons to strongly avoid Phuket are adding up. In 10 years Asia I have never been. But the scams, the unclear deaths of foreigners, the taxi's, tuk tuk's, tsunami, earthquake, corruption. Isn't it time to come to the conclusion Phuket is not a very smart tourist destination to choose?

Thank you for not coming to Phuket

We just love all you people who knock the place but have never been here...it does show a really adult attitude about life

As my 6 year old grandson says....if you don't try it you will never know but then again he likes a bit of adventure
