How sad ???? This may well be the tip of a coming iceberg as I fear that as the cost of living continue to rise and employers are not prepared to increase the minimum wage above 300 baht per day, more people will become desperate and leave their children either with a relative or, at their wits end, abandon them in the hope that they will be looked after by the state.
I find the expression "a good Samaritan" somewhat amusing as it is often used here in this Buddhist country. God bless those poor little mites. ????
