  1. The civil case was settled out of court before that question could be answered. The original case was about jurisdiction, not the merits of the accusation.
  2. She was under age for prostitution in the jurisdiction where the offense occurred.
  3. I'm just saying that innocent people cooperate with the FBI when asked, especially royalty.
  4. Bottom line is that he wouldn't have kissed googbye to 15 large if he was telling the truth and we know he lied about not meeting her.
  5. If he as innocent he would have done so. The public perception of him went downhill because he refused.
  6. Obviously not and that was his own fault. He had no excuse not to since there had to have been at least a suspicion in his mind and the huge stakes involved. Can't fix stupid as they say.
  7. I remember in the early 80's they were building the Landmark plaza with entirely bamboo scaffolding.
  8. She's a low level military doctor nurse. The risk she quotes is well known and very minimal, especially compared to the risk from covid itself. Airliners have two pilots for this sort of thing
  9. And nobody believes that she had sex with the prince without compensation, right? How old was he when she was 17?
  10. You are wrong. The hapless prince had access to some of the finest intelligence and security services in the world and the liklihood that he truly believed she was over 18 is ludicrous. Although the age of consent is 16 throughout the United Kingdom, it is illegal to buy sex from a person under 18 where the perpetrator does not reasonably believe they are 18 or over.
  11. Supposedly they actually earn revenue for the country but I would wonder if the total cost was tallied up. Worse, these blood suckers don't even have to clean up their own mess. Andrew and Giuffre have agreed for the amount of the settlement to remain confidential, but it has been reported to be £12 million pounds ($22.6 million). The question of how Andrew can afford this needs an answer. Reports suggest that he has sold his ski chalet, apparently worth £18 million, after settling a debt. The remaining proceeds will go some of the way to fund the settlement, but the rest will reportedly come from the Queen. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-17/where-will-prince-andrews-settlement-money-come-from/100838738
  12. Just like Thailand. Ya think there might be a reason why Viets in the US call it Saigon?
  13. The origin of the name Bangkok (บางกอก, pronounced in Thai as [bāːŋ kɔ̀ːk] (listen)), is unclear. Bang บาง is a Thai word meaning 'a village on a stream',[13] and the name might have been derived from Bang Ko (บางเกาะ), ko เกาะ meaning 'island', stemming from the city's watery landscape.[9] Another theory suggests that it is shortened from Bang Makok (บางมะกอก), makok มะกอก being the name of Elaeocarpus hygrophilus, a plant bearing olive-like fruit.[d] This is supported by the former name of Wat Arun, a historic temple in the area, that used to be called Wat Makok.[14] Officially, the town was known as Thonburi Si Mahasamut (ธนบุรีศรีมหาสมุทร, from Pali and Sanskrit, literally 'city of treasures gracing the ocean') or Thonburi, according to the Ayutthaya Chronicles.[15]Bangkok was likely a colloquial name, albeit one widely adopted by foreign visitors, who continued to use it to refer to the city even after the new capital's establishment. source: wiki
  14. Of course it's Thai, just that nobody much uses it. An earlier capital of Thailand was Ayyutayah. In Burma it was Pagan. Now that's really out of the way. When I went there in 1979, we had to ride in the back of a truck for 10 hours to get there, it was the only way.
  15. I have never considered prostitution to be morally or ethically wrong. A minor for the purposes of paid (or compensated sex) is clearly 18. It is in the US and Thailand likewise. Also the Philippines. That definition doesn't need my clarification.
  16. The most obvious justification is to ask the world to use the name almost all Thais use. China changed the name Canton to Guangzhou. There are many examples. Even in oz there's a push to use Aboriginal names are more culturally appropriate.
  17. Not me, I was still a virgin at that age and so were most of my friends.
  18. none of whom are princes or, hopefully, don't engage with under age girls
